This old man is after me, by now I am sure of it. And I told my friends but they laughed at me. I'm hoping you can save me.
~~~~~~This old man is after me and by now I'm sure of it. He knew where I lived, for fuck's sake!
The first time I saw him, I simply found him odd and a bit evil. The second time, I brushed it off as a coincidence. The third time... The third time turned the whole game around and the fourth time, confirmed my suspicions. This person was out to get me.
He seemed to always just stare, except for the time he waved at me. But ultimately, he never said anything.
Did I want him to, though? I think not.
After I parked the car in my spot on the driveway, I looked in my rearview mirror and the old man was gone.
I got out of my car and looked around but he was nowhere to be found. "Did y'all see that?" I asked both my friends.
They had both just exited the car and were staring across the street like I was. "See what?" one of them asked.
"The old man! He was standing right there," and then I pointed to the neighbor's house across the street.
They shared a look with each other and burst out laughing. "Let's head inside, baby girl," said my crush, "I think you need to rest a bit."
I know I am not crazy! Can I truly be the only one that ever sees the old man?
