Isabel's POV
A few hours later I was exhausted. After our dance we opened the gifts and thanked everyone. Although, I have to say some were a bit weird. One of his family members got us a statue of two naked people. I knew that I was never going to put that thing anywhere in 'our' house. Yep, I have to move in with him. This marriage thing sucks.
Every couple of minutes someone would pass me and say something like 'Congratulations you're one lucky woman to have that hunk by your side for the rest of your life'.
If only they knew.
I looked over at Asher who was saying goodbye to his aunts and uncles. I felt really uncomfortable because one of his aunts was talking to me about Asher's favourite colours so I could go get them in lingeries. Ew. I think that woman was at least 47 years old. Guess she doesn't get enough action in her life.
They were the only people left to leave. I watched as they walked through the door and Asher sighed walking up to me, "Thank God that's over."
"I know. Your Aunt Edna was being very suggestive about me getting it on with you," I shuddered.
"Hmm not a bad idea," He said pretending to think about it.
I gasped and smacked him on the arm.
"Okay, okay. Jeez woman I was only joking....unless you want me to be serious," he said smirking suggestively.
I smacked him on the arm again, "Stupid horny men."
He laughed, "Okay so your parents left early saying something about having to attend some meeting so I guess you'll have to stay with me for the night."
I groaned, "I feel like I'm being punished for something I didn't do."
"Hey," he said playfully glaring at me, "I'm not that bad."
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever helps you sleep at night."
We left and headed to his car. The cold wind blew against my skin and I shivered.
I didn't want to go but I had to face the facts; 1) my parents weren't at home and the house is locked up. Even if I did go I didn't have the key to get in and 2) I didn't have anywhere else to go. I know some of my family is here but I don't have their addresses.
I sighed internally as Asher unlocked his car and we both got in. He put his keys in the ignition and started it, pulling off at a speed. We drove in silence for a while before I decided to speak, "Asher why are you being so civil towards me?"
He glanced at me before replying, "Would you rather me be rude to you instead?"
I shook my head, "No I mean, you never were like this towards me you know. I'm just a bit confused."
He shrugged a bit, "Well you are to be my future wife. I don't see a point in being ill-mannered."
I stayed silent after that and looked out the window the rest of the way.
We came to a stop about 10 minutes later, "Welcome home, sweetheart." Asher said to me.
I gaped at the mansion in front if me. I knew Asher was rich but damn. I didn't expect him to be living in a place like this. I imagined a gloomy house with dim lights and a few dying plants. I know, how awful but from knowing him all these years that would be the perfect place for Asher Cullen.
He got out of the car and walked around to open the car door for me, "Thanks." I said getting out.
We walked up to the front door and Asher rang the doorbell. You could hear how far it echoed into the halls of the mansion. We waited a while before we heard the clicking of heels. The door opened with a swoosh and a middle aged woman with what sounds like a Spanish accent greeted us as we stepped inside.
The warmth circulating the room soothed me as I inspected the living room.
There were a few mats layed out in front and a small stool, close to it on the left a long staircase. On the top of the ceiling handed a very beautiful chandelier that dazzled and lit up the room. On the other side of the room there was a dining table and chairs set on a fluffy white carpet and up in front on the left there was a comfy sofa and behind it a small table with an ornament on top. Of course there was a flat screen TV placed a little away from the sofa in front.
It felt very homey and I sighed. This was going to be my home after I'm married.
Asher turned to me, "Miranda will show you to your room. I have some work to do in my office. Call Miranda if you need anything okay?"
I nodded and he went upstairs leaving me with the woman that I now know as Miranda.
"Hi I'm Miranda Smith, as you already know and I'm señor Cullen's caretaker."
"Oh hi I'm Isabel Aldaine." I said holding out my hand for her to shake.
She shook my hand, "Don't you mean señora Cullen?" She asked eyeing me.
"Well I'm still an Aldaine until my wedding day." I laughed.
She laughed along with me, "Sígueme por favor."
Thank heaven I took up Spanish in high school and still remember most of it.
She led me up the staircase and down the left hall. There were 3 halls upstairs and it consisted of at least 30 or more rooms as Miranda stated.
She stopped in the middle of the hall and pulled out a key and unlocked the door. She opened it and gestured for me to come in.
I looked around the bedroom. It was painted in a baby blue colour and the curtains were same colour. The bed had matching blue sheets and the closet was blue too. Even the bathroom door was blue.
What a very blue room.
"Wow." I breathed out.
"Yes," she laughed, "it's pretty blue isn't it?"
"Yeah. What's next blue clothes?" I laughed.
She didn't laugh with me and I looked at her with the are-you-serious- expression.
I'm the girl version of the Blue Boy. Just great.
"Well I'll be going now. There's clothes in the closet.
Do you need anything else señorita Isabel?""No I'm okay and please just call me Isabel."
She nodded and left me alone in the baby blue room.

A/N: Asher's mansion to the top. I'm not good at describing stuff so sorry if my descriptions were crappy.
Also I'm sorry for the late update! School has been keeping me busy. These teachers I have just love to give us a lot of homework even if it is our first week. I took some time to edit this chapter. I just wanted to make sure there were no mistakes because I know some of you are like me and cringe when you see a mistake and itch to correct it. If there are any please don't hesitate to tell me.
All my love,
