Chapter 3- Meet me halfway
LIAM'S POV-
I've got sunshine on the cloudy day! I was awaken by Elle's call awhile ago. She asked me to fetch her in North Carolina University. Well, since I studied there before so I could say it is not far away from my Montenegro University. In fact, I used to fetch her regularly after my last class and just 15 minutes ride away from home. But why she'll go late today? Where have she been? I mean, she does suppose at home earlier.
"Liam...!" She said upon waving her hands form a distance.
I glance and smile at her. But when I turn my walk next to her, I clearly notice the blood stain on her blouse. I wonder why and how she got it. Is she has today's period? But why on her blouse?
"Hi, best! Sorry if i had disturbed your sleep." She said as she kisses my cheeks.
"Uhmmm...Elle, what had happened to you? Are you bleeding? Were u got in troublesome awhile ago? Tell me then?!" I said confusedly.
"No, actually I have been in clinic before you arrived. I carried Nathan to cure his wound." She explained.
"Huh? Who is he? Tsk...Why did you carry him? Uh oh." I asked.
"Guess what? Early morning awhile ago, I saw him in field torturing by a gang. Worst of all, nobody has the guts to help him, instead students were cooperately hitting and torturing him!" She said on her guilty way.
"Hmmm...I don't like him. He's just putting you in trouble. Just stay away from him ok?" I said.
"No, Liam! He’s good yet quiet. Actually it was Joseph rule that’s why he was in trouble." She groaned defensively.
"Dean? Oh, he is a friend of mine." I said
"Really? Duh!!" She exclaimed.
"Uhmm, Elle have you asked him why he was torturing by a gang or Joseph’s gang. You know, He is not supposed to get that if he doesn't have mistake then?" I asked.
Elle's face turns into sad. She bows her head and whisper...
"Be---causse..."
"Because of what?! I said.
She took a deep breath when she finally said...
"Cuz he is a gay...."

ELLE'S POV-
"E--LLE.. I think I have to go now." Nathan said.
"Uhmm...are you sure you are ok now? Well, I can lead you through your house." I offered.
I get my phone to call Liam.
liam's phone ringing...
(Phone conversation)
So Elle whats up?" Liam said.
He is on a bit of annoys I guess. Hahaha
"Liam, could you please fetch me here...pluuueeesssee.." I pleaded.
"Fine, 30 minutes then I'll be there" he said.
"Geezzzzz!!! Ohhh...thaaannkkk yoooouuu besttt!!! Lovelots" then I dropped the call. -end of phone conversation-
"Don't worry Elle, I'm absolutely fine now. As what I said, this was not the first time I had this. So I learned to bear with this. Its common."
He smiled to emphasize hes really fine right now.
"Hmmm..Ok, don't worry i'll promise you I'll take an action for this as ssg president." I smiled at him.
But before Nathan totally gone, I call out his name again,
"Nathan!" I shouted
"Yeah?" He glanced.
"Feel free to txt or call me, if you need help." I said
"Thank you so much Elle. I'm glad to know you...you are not just prettier but prettiest at all." He said while he is now holding the business card I've given.
I went outside the school. At last, I saw my best friend's car approaching. He parked his black glowing Mercedes benz and quickly off from it.
"Liam!" I said. He smiled but very upset on my blouse. So i tell him what had happened and introduce Nathan's cruel some awhile ago.

LIAM'S POV-
2 weeks ago
"So Elle what is your plan on Sunday? Where is your plan to celebrate your birthday?"
I asked while she’s baking a cake in the kitchen. I'm at her house today cuz her little brother, Mathew, asked me to play psp and xbox earlier.
"Yup! I already paid on it." She said
"What do you mean?" I ask while raising my right eyebrow.
"I went yesterday to Leleng's restau and disco bar I rent it for my birthday." She replied.
"CooL!! I love it! So, how many girls and gays invited?!" I said excitedly.
"Yeah, don't worry i'll bring a lot. But gays? Hmmm... Come what may." She said.
"I'm so excited. Let’s have a theme!" I suggest
"Then what?" She asked
"Cowboy stuff. You know." I suggested again.
"Fine. I guess its a great idea. Later I’ll call my friend to extend them our proposal." She said excitedly.
After we eat her baked cake, she start contacting her friends while I am busy playing xbox with Mathew.
I thought she’s done when she grab my joystick but, she said..
"Oh! I forgot. I'll invite Nathan too!" She said and finally gave back the joystick to me,
She go to the kitchen to get some drinks when I suddenly hear her voice talking with Nathan on phone.
Haaaissstt... Who is that Nathan? Though I didn't see him yet, but I am sure I wouldn't be good to him. Cuz he just putting Elle in harm!
