Bee's perspective

I wake up with heavy eyes at 7:00 am by the sound of the alarm from my phone on my bedside table. It rings and vibrates until I throw my hand in the direction of my phone and hit snooze. I hazily try and sit up as I rub my eyes and fell my whole body ache as I use the palms of my hand to try and prop my self up and remember the past days. I then shut off the alarm on my phone and swing my legs over the bed and wait for the motivation or my feet to touch the ground and stand. Nothing happens, nothing stirs. My face droops, my hair a mess, and I sit alone in my room not wanting to move. It's best I go to school today, but maybe it isn't. I want to see will while I can. But I can not tell him what might and had happened to our family. My options weigh back in forth. my shoulders slouch down my back arched, I'm still sitting on the edge of my bed, when a little knock on my door interrupts the silence in my room.
"Honey, are you awake?" A soft voice from behind the door asks me.
I turn and face the door, blinking slowly.
"Yes. Mum. I am awake, you can come in."
"Hey." She says as she opens the door. She then sits on the corner of my bed ever so quietly. She rests her hands in her lap and looks at me with sorrow eyes.
"You don't have to go to school today." She tells me.
"If I don't, more things will pile up and I don't want to deal with anything more mum."
She quietly nods. "If you can handle that, okay? If you need me to pick you up text me and I'll call the school to get you out of school." she tells me.
She's wearing the same shirt as yesterday then sweat pants. Her hair oily and messy. Her eyes lost of light and her posture as if it was lost in the wind. The corners of her mouth don't point up anymore as she talks. Every word seems as if she's just finished a very long run. Come out as breaths and heavy syllables.
"Alright. I better get ready." I say.
I scoot over on the bed and embrace her in a hug and hold her long. I then release, then grasping her hands helping each other up. She then looks at me and keeps eye contact then looks off as she turns around and walks out my door, closing it behind her. I then get dress and go down stairs.
before I leave for school I go upstairs once more and grab my phone. Which I haven't touch since I've heard the news. Except the alarm clock.
Many texts and calls from will or lizzy and a couple texts from Delilah. I reply to them all on the walk to my bus stop. "I'm not hurt" I say "I'm not sick, I just couldn't go to school yesterday I will be at school today." I say to all the texts. I get on the bus and mentally prepare for school.
The first class. English. English with will. how precious he is.
I grab my things from my locker and walk.
I don't want to see his face when I tell him news. Maybe it's not true. Maybe it's just a visit. We just moved here, maybe our uncle can live with us. But we need to see him. We need to see our family in Australia. But I don't want to see the wave of sadness appear in all our hearts by the terror that happened to my cousin and aunt.
I walk in the room and I'm greeted by or teacher.
"Bianca, I have some stuff for you from yesterday but are things alright?" He questions me.
"Things are rough but I'm physically fine. Family stuff, thanks for asking."
He hands me some paper and I walk to my desk.
Several seconds later will walks up to me with a concerned smile.
"Bee! You weren't at school yesterday. You didn't answer your calls. Thank you for replying this morning."
I stand up and give him a big hug and he carefully hugs me back in surprise.
"Yes, I know. I'm sorry. Things happened, I had to stay home a bit will. I'm here now." I say with the modest smile at the end.
"What was I going to do with out you. I'm glad you're not hurt! Is it alright if I asked what happened?" Will says to me.
I slightly grit my teeth then form it into a weak smile replying "I'm having some family.. problems. You could say."
He looks at me with his deep brown eyes as the stare back at me with concern. I notice a little lock of his hair droops down in his forehead. As we sit next to each other his hand gently grips my shoulder and his thumb rubs my back. His eyes still staring into mine with all of his attention on me.
God, I can not leave this boy.
"I'm here for you bee. I'm very sorry to hear something happened." He replies
