Chapter 9

As will and I run to his car my pocket immediately buzzes.

Mother.

"Will wait up! Hold on I got a text."

"Ok let's get in the car first and then you can check it, I'll race you there!"
Will tells me.
I giggle and run to his car.
"Wait no fair!! You where way ahead of me!" I shout towards will.
The breeze blows through my hair as I smell the fresh air.
"Sorry mate!" He yells as he's almost to his car.
We both reach his car, William getting there first.
He opens the passenger door for me, bowing.
"Thank you good sir." I say as I curtsy.
He chuckles and walks to the drivers side.

Mum❤️: where are you??

Sorry for not telling you, I went to the library with a friend after school, I hope that's ok

Mum❤️: ya that's fine darling, be home before 8 o'clock, unless you have finished all your homework, hopefully you finished it all in the library

Ya all I had was reading for homework, I hope everything is fine at home

Mum❤️: it is, love you

"Is everything ok?" Will asks me.
"Mhm" I reply.
"So where are we going out for ice cream?"
"It's a surprise." He tells me.
I frown at his response at look over at him to his beautiful brown eyes.
As we drive to the mystery place he asks me bunch of questions.
"What what Australia like?"
"Hot"
"How are you enjoying England?"
"Fine."
"You said you like video games?"
"Mhm" I respond.
"Which ones?" He questions me.
"Minecraft is cool.." I respond trailing off.
"Hey I play that game too, we should play together sometimes."
I nod to his response.
I look out the window at the new country. Since school just started, autumn is just about to begin. Some trees are still popping with green leaves, while others are turning many colors of reds, oranges, and browns. The street is a dull grey with bright yellow dashes going down the center.

"We're almost there." Will announces.
I smile at his words, ice cream sounds so delightful right now.

"Thank you for taking me." I tell him, looking over towards him.

"Hey it might not even be open, don't thank me yet. But it is 4:10.. ( sorry using American time ) so why would it be closed?"

I laugh as he turns down a road filled with shops.

"Oh it's so adorable!" I squeal in the car.

"You haven't been on a tour around Brighton have you?" He asks.

I shake my head slowly.

"No.. I haven't."

"Well I know what we're doing over the weekend!" Will says happily.

"We?" I ask him.

"Mhm! It will be fun! Would you like me to take you on a tour around Brighton?"

I rapidly nod in return.

"There's actually a fair going on right now! It closes after autumn because if the snow, so we'll have to go soon."

"My goodness! I totally forgot! It snows here! That sounds so much fun!" I say.

Will chuckles and parks the car next to the pavement in front of all the shops.

"Who's the little kid now?" Will says smirking at me. After he parks the car he turns to face me.

"William, I haven't seen snow in ages, I'm actually really excited, maybe I can go sledding like the kids in the movies do, do teenagers do that? Well I'm gonna do that." I say laughing at the end.
