living the dream (sequel to the road trip

life goes on

its now three weeks later sebastian turned eighteen two weeks ago they had managed to getvtheir hands on some alcohol for the occasion they had remained at the hotel for another week. they had a low key celebration for his birthday just got a pizza and got drunk in the hotel room.

now they had found a house and with the money sebastian had taken from his dad and hunter having now sold the coach they had bought a house it was a large house but it was in a terrible state which was why they got it so cheap $16,000 for a four bedroomed house.  sounds amazing but it isnt the roof has massive holes in it there had been a previous infestation of wood worm which thankfully had been sorted out. the house needed a lot of work but it was theirs and that was all that mattered.

today was moving day the guy who owns the catamaran that they work on was a nice guy had had lent the boys a vannhe owned to help move their stuff.

rachel and santana were at the house waiting for the boys to bring their stuff they were cleaning up while they waited.

" look at us rach home owners" santana said

" i just feel like im dreaming" rachel said as she swept the floor of the living room.

" you want me to pinch you" sebastian asked as he walked in carrying a large box before setting it down before cuddling her.

" you might have to" rachel giggled

" honestly seb cant you put her down ever" hunter said walking in carrying a box

" shut up and kiss me" santana said.

the next few hours were hectic as they sorted all their worldy possessions out they didnt have beds so they were going to use their camping gear such as sleeping bags for now.

" thats it" hunter said placing the final box down

" so thats it then we have officially moved in" sebastian said the fournof hem stood looking around their new home then at each other. each of them brought something to the mix that made it possible for them to have escaped their lives and live free of  their pasts.

" now for a little celebration " sebastian said picking up a bottle of wine that he had hidden from them rachel went to the kitchen and got four glasses out.

once they all had a glass of wine they stood in the very centre of the living room.

" here is to us the four of us  soulmates and best friends living the dream and as of midday today owningnour very own home. to us guys to our future which will be what the hell we want it to be" sebastian said

" well said" hunter said they four of them tuck a sip of their wine.

a few days later

its Wednesday the oceannid pretty choppy today so they cant go out on the catamaran today so they have decided that they would go shopping for beds as the sleeping bags are to warm in the heat but the floor is to hard to sleep on without them.

the four of them are walking to the furniture store its a warm windy day in the florida keys.

" i want a good quality mattress my bed at mckinley had a spring that if i so much as sighed it creaked" santana said

" i remember " hunter said

" i dont care what bed we get aslong as i have you next to me" sebastian said pulling rachel to him making her blush.

" looks like someone hopes to get lucky in their not yet purchased bed" hunter said

" shut up" sebastian said laughing.

once they had ordered their beds which were to be delivered tomorrow they decided to head back to the house as they were all pretty hungry. santana hadnt been joking about wanting the best bed two hours they had been in the store while she went bqck and forth trying out every mattress that the store had.

now it was lunchtime and the waves were  calming down so they hoped they might be able to go out on the water this afternoon.

rachel made them all a sandwich once they were back  home which they ate while sat on the front porch of their house.

" i think we could go out on the water now its looking pretty calm" sebastian said

" yeah" rachel said

so at three pm the fournof them made their way to the harbour where they saw the owner sorting out his other boat which he himself worked on.

" we thought it might be ok now " hunter said to him.

" i was thinking the same thing plus you already have a booking i was going to come get you" jim he owner said

"oh really" sebastian asked

" yeah here he is now" jim said

" hello sebastian " a voice said.....
