Chapter 5: Could Be Better

Jughead: (to Archie and Veronica) I CAN'T STAY HERE, I CAN'T
Veronica: why? What happened? Why did they take you out of the room?
Jughead: a machine started to sound and the doctor said oh my god you have to go and they take me out of there (so nervous)
Archie: calm down Jughead
Jughead: oh my god Archie can you understand I CAN'T (almost crying)
(Veronica and Archie stand up and hug him, Jughead cries)
Veronica: Calm down, she is going to be good.

(At this moment the doctor comes)

Doctor: Jughead, right?
Jughead: yes
Doctor: well, the things are going wrong, Betty's mental breakdowns are starting to be frequents and it is not good for her, also we gave her a medicine but it didn't worked at her.
Jughead: so what are you going to do now?
Doctor: we only can wait, we need to see Betty's evolution and if she continues having these breakdowns... well, we would need to try another way to help her.
Jughead: you know if she is going to be okay?
Doctor: we now don't know
Jughead: can I go back to her room?
Doctor: she is now not good at all, so I would wait, bit if you want...

(Jughead enters to Betty's Room, she is awake but she has the eyes closed)

Jughead: Betty, Betty *whispers*
Betty: Hi handsome *loosely*
Jughead: how are you? (touchs her leg and sits down)
Betty: could be better *sadly and loosely*
Jughead: Betty no, don't say that, you're going to get better and when all this have finished we could go to somewhere, maybe we could go to Toledo or where you want *says excited*
Betty: I don't think so Juggie
Jughead: why Betty, no! You... (get interrupted)
Betty: Jug, I heard the doctors, they say I'm not better and I'm not going to get better, I need a harder medicine and I need to stay here.

(Doctor enters at the room)

Doctor: Hi!
Jughead: Hello
Doctor: well Betty, we are going to take off this medicine, we will take off this needle from your vein and then we will wait a little bit.
Jughead: why?
Doctor: well Jughead, we could talk outside better, right?

(Nurse enters)

Doctor: yes, do it, I'm coming later (leaves)
Nurse: ok Betty, I'm going to take this off ok?
Betty: yes
Nurse: I'm going to do it so carefully, haha
Betty: *smiles*
Nurse: alright, that's my girl, look Jughead, she even moved, haha
Jughead: yeah, she's strong, the best *smiles at Betty*
Betty: *smiles*
Nurse: ok, so I'm leaving, bye guys
Betty: Jug
Jughead: what Betts?
