The sun peered in through the window of the living room. The blinding light smacked upon the delicate, yet scruffy, sleeping singer’s face. He made a grunting noise as he slowly began woke up.
“Gah, why is light so fucking bright?” (Alex said under his breath and he blinked rapidly trying to adjust to the sun light)
He was still on the couch. He still had Kiersten wrapped safely in his arms. He was still clothed. Alex looked down onto Kiersten’s sleeping face. He smiled while he looked at her soft features… she was so vulnerable. He felt like he was held the entire world in his arms, and he thought he had to be so careful because he feared breaking it into thousands of pieces. He bent over and kissed the top of her head.
“Kiersten… Sweetie… It’s morning, time to wake up.” (He spoke a little louder than a whisper but not loud enough to be considered full volume. He didn’t want to scare her. At the same time, he gently shook her)
“Hm….?”(She stirred and snuggled closer into his chest. She didn’t want to get up at this moment)
“Good Morning Sleeping Beauty!” (Alex chuckled and in his normal morning voice cracked the phrase)
“Alex, I’m going to eat your face if you move. I’m comfortable and don’t want to move, so it’s your choice. Your face or breakfast?” (She joked as she slowly got off of Alex and stretched)
“Um… I chose… YOU!” (Alex grabbed Kiersten by her waist as she stretched and pulled her back onto his chest and she squealed in respone)“Don’t diss the unintended Pokémon reference!!!” (He winked, she giggled, and he gave her a huge kiss on the cheek)
Kiersten and Alex practically gained 10 packs from laughing at Alex’s stupidity, plus it was like six in the morning. They were up and had no idea why, but everything seemed funny to these people. LIke usual Kiersten made her way to the kitchen, and Alex followed closely behind. A she walked towards the door, Alex suddenly zipped past her and stood in the door frame.
“What’s the password? No password, no entrance!” (Alex winked at his girlfriend and chuckled as she attempted to get around him)
“Alex Gaskarth is … um… ALEX GASKARTH IS A MAJOR DORK! (She laughed and winked at him)
“True! But that’s not the password!” (He chuckled and shook his head back and forth as Kiersten folded her arms)
“You’re going to starve then!” (Again laughing and trying to push past the singer. He wasn’t moving until she got that damn password)
“Alright! That’s not the password! C’MON BABE, IT’S EASY!” (He winked and busted out laughing. He thought it was going to be an easy guess, and he could only laugh at her getting antsy the longer she stood there)
Alex was waiting and shifting his weight back and forth between his legs. He was thinking about what he could actually make this password, but shortly thought that he’d just let Kiersten say something cute then let her through. He was getting hungry. Before he knew it, she jumped into his arms and kissed him, of course causing him to smile like an idiot.Access granted. Alex put her down and they got to eating breakfast.
After they were finally ready for the day, Alex decided to plan an entire day hidden away around the house. It will cover two major things, the fact that they need to stay hidden and they get to spend some quality time together. As Alex was waiting for Kiersten to finish her shower and getting ready, he sat at the kitchen table and made a list on his phone. Alex opened the notepad application and started his list for the day. How was he going to make this a rememberable day?
“List To Do:
- Lake Walk
- Water Fight
- Ninja War
- Cloud Watching (I sound like a chick)
- TV time
- Picnic outside
- Movies
- Charade party of two
- Jam session
I wonder if this would be a good time for the surprise…?
I’ll add to this later.”
Alex heard the hair dryer go on, he guessed that she was almost done getting ready. Being as quiet as he could he snuck into his bag and grabbed a little object and shoved it into his pocket. Then he went back to the table and played Temple Run until Kiersten walked downstairs. Alex looked up from his phone and saw his girlfriend radiate under the sun’s rays that were coming through the window. Her navy and white striped shirt slipped off her left shoulder, and her head was titled slightly to the side giving her boyfriend a confused look. Alex realized that he was practically drooling at the sight he was trying to take in. He blushed a bit and asked Kiersten if she wanted to do anything special today. She responded that she really didn’t have a preference and Alex then shot up exclaiming he has an entire list of activities planned.
Alex took Kiersten through everything on his list. He saved the lake and surprise for last. He loved the calming effect of the water as it rippled from the aquatic animals living there. At this point in time, the couple took up the entire day with the activities Alex planned shortly after breakfast. It was dark outside with nothing but the brightness of the full moon to guide them on their adventure along the lake. They walked hand in hand and close to the water’s edge. It was funny because it kinda resembled the walk they took on the beach around when they first met. Alex thought of this and smiled. He then shook is head and let go of Kiersten’s hand to wrap his arm around her waist. They were discussing the day they shared and reflected upon themselves. For once, they didn’t need to worry about some freaky ass note stalker, or any band arguments, or any stress for that matter. They were peaceful and together; and that’s all that really mattered to them.
Alex stopped walking and wrapped his other arm around Kiersten’s waist, attaching his hands on the small of her back. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Alex gazed into her uniquely colored eyes. Those eyes he adored so much. He almost teared up, he felt so emotional right now and didn’t know why. So instead he kissed her so passionately, he could’ve made her believe that this was the last time he was going to see her. She pulled away shortly into it and wiped his tears from his face. He didn’t even know they were falling.
“Kiersten. I need to ask you a serious question. I need a serious answer.” (This was unlike Alex. However he needed to ask, it was the one thing that was on his mind right now)
(He continued) ”I love you. Those three little words can’t even describe my feelings towards you. I love you so much more than words can describe. I know times have been rough (Alex started to choke up) and for some odd reason you stood by me. We stood together. I sound so stupid getting worked up. But Kiersten, I have —” (Alex had to stop talking to keep from completely crying)
“Alex, I —” (Alex shook his head, he wasn’t done and didn’t want her explaining anything. He motioned for them to take a seat on the grass, so they did)
“I need to know that you’ll always be there for me… I need a promise.”(Alex took his left hand and put it into the pocket that contained the mysterious tiny box. Kiersten’s eyes started to tear up).

Sorry for the late upload. Got home and crashed for a good 12 hours. I just got up at 4:35AM(:
