Two Kids, Stupid and in Love.

Chapter Dos.

The day was gorgeous, the sun was shining and the birds were singing on the tree branches outside the apartment of Alex. What was he doing? He was texting Kiersten, while laying on the couch. He completely ignored the object around him, his full attention was on her despite the fact that she wasn’t even in the room.

It was amazing how much these two strangers grew together. It’s been about two weeks since the carnival adventure between these two lovers and they’ve been practically inseparable. Within the mere span of two weeks they’ve spent so much time together! The young lovers spent nearly everyday together. Alex took her on walks in the park. romantic dinners, silly movie dates, and out for pizza. Kiersten went with him to band practice, local shows, and even took him shopping with her. They never questioned one another, they just stuck together like glue.

“Kierstennnnnnnnn!!!!! Where are youuuuu?! I’m bored!” (Alex called to her while hanging upside down off the couch in the studio)

“Alexxxxxxx, you’re such a dork! And no you’re not, you’re quite entertained hanging off the side of the couch! Don’t lie!” (She sat down next to him and tickled his stomach, all while giggling and smiling at the doofus)

“Stop! I’m going to fall!!!” (He laughed, and didn’t want her to stop. He did, however, fall onto the floor with a slight thud)

“OH MY GOD! Alex! (She sat on the floor next to him placing her hand on his chest) I’m tota-” (She was interrupted by Alex when he gently grabbed her face in his hands and pulled her down to his level and kissed her)

“Shut up.” (He still held her face in his hands and kissed her again, smiling under her lips. As he did this, he slowly moved his down her back until he reached the small of her back and just set his hands there)

Alex and Kiersten continued their little flirt session until the rest of the band joined them in the room. When the first member, who happened to be Jack, walked into the room Alex and Kiersten straightened up. Jack laughed, and waved at the two people who were now casually chilling on the couch together. Alex smiled and flipped him off while Kiersten laughed and hid her face in Alex’s chest. He dropped his arms around her and stayed like that as Rian, followed by Cassadee, and Zack entered the room. When Rian and his lady walked in they nodded in the younglings’ direction acknowledging that they were there. However, Zack merely looked an rolled his eyes as he continued to pass the couch.

Alex had the slightest bit of knowledge as to what Zack’s problem was recently. He wondered why Zack has such a problem with this relationship. Isn’t it supposed to be if Alex is happy his friends are happy for him? Alex was confused, then those thoughts left when he felt Kiersten readjust herself under his arms. He smiled at the top of her head, and watched as she slowly drifted off into a light sleep.

He felt bad for keeping her up kinda late last night. The important part was that she was here with him today. He still can’t believe that she is all his. Their hearts practically beat together and that’s just how he likes it. He kissed the top of her head and slowly moved out from under her. Zack was getting impatient as he waited to rehearse and get moving on the practice today. Alex took off his sweat shirt and placed it on her, knowing that it can get chilly at times in the building, even in this summer weather. It was a fucked up building but what else was new?

“Hurry up lover boy! You’re taking up all of our time.” (Zack hissed at Alex. Little did he know Alex isn’t going to get insulted so easily)

“Dude, what the fuck is your problem?! With every past girl friend including fucking Lisa you were fine! What the hell do you have against Kiersten and me?! Back the fuck off, cool down, and if you have a problem fucking tell me! Don’t be an ass about it!” (Alex’s anger was working up. He didn’t like the idea of Zack pushing his buttons about this. Zack doesn’t understand, he never will at this rate)
