-Although being older than Snowbush, Dewnose, and Ambermoon, Lilyheart and Seedpaw were apprenticed after the trio of siblings. Vicky has said the reason for this will be explained in Dovewing's Silence. This was never touched upon, however.
-In an Erin Hunter Chat, Vicky revealed that Thunder, Shadow, River, Sky, and Wind did not take "-star" on the end of their names, because the tradition had not yet been established in their time. This, however, contradicts information in Secrets of the Clans, which shows the founders of the Clans to have the "-star" suffix.
-Beetlewhisker is listed in the allegiance lists for The Apprentice's Quest, Thunder and Shadow, as well as Shattered Sky, even though he dies in The Last Hope. He also is said to have died in the Great Battle, when he actually died beforehand.
-Darkstar is mistakenly referred to as Duskstar throughout the entirety of Cloudstar's Journey. This mistake was not corrected in the story's printing in The Untold Stories.
