Mercy's life is going well she is starring in her own movie and her love life is going great until she realizes that she is in love with her best friend Tyree and then life takes turn for the worst.
My phone starts to ring while I'm getting dressed for the barbeque. When I pick it up I see Tyree's name pop up. "Hae, best friend" I smile "Hae, Mercy we need to talk like now, I'm at your door." What's so important that it couldn't wait till after the barbeque.
I hang up and jog to my door. When I open my door Tyree is standing there with tears in his eyes.
"Tyree what's wrong" I pull him into a hug and closed the door. "I have to tell you the truth Mercy because if I don't do it now I won't be able to do it at all" he pulls me out of the hug and walks me to the couch "Mercy, Chanel is pregnant, and the baby is probably mine."
I feel my heart drop into my stomach. "What" I start to feel tears come down my eyes "Why would you be so dumb to get her pregnant of all people" he looks at me.

"How did you find out she was pregnant?" I try to dry my tears so my makeup wouldn't get ruined. "I was at her house to talk to her about something and she told me" I'm just noticing that this is someone I love and the fact that he might be having a child with the girl I hate.
"Tyree, do you know that you might have a baby with Chanel Ford the same girl who told me that you were just friends with me because you felt bad for me, the same girl who said that got you arrested for weed that wasn't yours when you went to Texas with me and decide to bring her, and lets not forget when she hit you and you got that big ass bruise on your face and I had to beat her ass.
If this is your kid, she about to make your life a living hell tyr--" "YOU DONT THINK I KNOW THAT!! Mercy I know all of this that why I was going over there, I wanted to break things off with her, cut her off, be done with her, I want to be with someone who actually makes me want to change." I look down.
"So I guess there is someone else who you want to be with isn't there." He kneels in front of me "Mercy, I want to be with you. The day you met chase, I was on my way to your house, but you called me and told me you met a guy so I was too scared to ruin your happiness, I've loved you ever since you I seen you I just never got to tell you I guess."
"Why didn't you tho, why didn't you tell me because I have felt the same for you since you came into my life. When I met Chanel I thought you were really in love with her so I decided that I would move on. That's when I met chase and fell in love with him, shit I still love him but I think I love you more, but why didn't you tell me?" He wiped his tears.
Tyree's P.O.V
"Because, I was scared you won't feel the same M" she starts to ball her eyes out "Mercy, don't cry, I sorry I never told you and that I'm just now telling you this but I want you to know that someone like Chase doesn't deserve a person like you and you have to realize sooner or later that he's not the one you are supposed to be with."
She looked up with wet eyes "And let me guess I'm supposed to be with a guy like you, Tyree I love you, but you can't just come to my house and tell--" I interrupt her by kissing her. At first, she was surprised, then she kissed back. we sat there kissing for some time until her phone suddenly rang.
