Mercy's life is going well she is starring in her own movie and her love life is going great until she realizes that she is in love with her best friend Tyree and then life takes turn for the worst.
I arrive at Tyree's parent's barbeque and instantly was annoyed by the presence of his mother. She looked at me and frowned "Hi Chanel, nice to see someone who I didn't invite better yet told my son to make sure you weren't here but I guess you didn't care." "I'm doing well, oh well let me say we are doing fine" I finished by rubbing my stomach.
She looked down. "Whatever you are trying to do I hope you know that its a possibility that little innocent child in your devilish body is not my sons you hussy." I laughed straight in her face.
"Do you think that I care about your hopes, it's his and you're going to be a grandmother and ill make sure to send a baby shower invitation okay. I'm about to fix me a plate because we are famished." I walked off and left her there looking dumb founded.
After I fixed my plate I ran into Tyree's dad. "Hi mr.powers nice to see you again" he smiled "Hi Chanel, I didn't know you were coming and wheres that son of mine he was supposed to be here an hour ago." "I don't know he told me to come before him, he really wanted to tell y'all the good news" he looked at me confused.
"What good news". I smiled and rubbed my stomach. "Well, Tyree and I are having a baby and he proposed to me the other night he said that he has been wanting to marry me since we first met and he is happy I'm having his baby." he was completely shocked. "So you're telling me that I will be a papa" I smile "Yes, you will be a papa". "Does my wife know?" I frown "Yes, and she's not too happy about it" "You know my wife she is just overprotective of Tyree she will get over it."
This guy is something else. "Okay well Chanel I'm going to go say hi to some guest and when my son gets here I want to make an announcement so we can let everyone on know." "okay mr.powers" he smiled and disappeared into the house. I can't wait to see the look on Tyree's face when this happens.
Mercy's P.O.V
I picked up Miranda and my parents on the way to the barbeque. "Mercy, I'm sorry for the other day I shouldn't have said that to you it wasn't my place." I look over at her "Its okay I know you were trying to protect me and I get it but just know that I can handle myself okay" she smiled and nodded. "Oh yeah, my brother is coming to town in two weeks and I want you to know he is bringing a girl."
I laugh "Little Jerome got a girlfriend, it's just like we were back in Texas and he was crushing on me" we all burst into laughter "Miranda remember when he came to our house and asked Tyrese to take out mercy and he was only like ten." My Mom and dad were dying from laughter in the back seat.
We arrived at the barbeque and my parents hopped out of the car as soon as I stopped and disappeared into the house. Miranda and I were walking in when I heard someone called my name from behind. when I turned around I was met with the eyes of Tyree. I'm still trying to function from happened earlier. "Miranda go ahead without me okay" she looked backed "Ight, call me if you need me boo".
After she left he walked up to me. "So are you okay" I smile "Yes, Tyree I can't make a decision in a day let me think about it okay" he smiled "Okay, I guess I can wait for you" we laugh and walk in the house. Tyree sees his parents and went to talk to them while I talked to some of the people at the party.
And when I thought things couldn't go the wrong Chanel walked up to me with a big grin on her face. Oh, this bitch is lucky she pregnant or I would have wiped that shit right off her face. "What the fuck are you doing here, I thought my best friend dropped your ugly ass" she laughed "It's funny you think he would drop all of this for what you.
Mercy, I hope you understand that I'm not going anywhere anytime soon okay" "Look here, you think he might still want you ass but he doesn't, he just came to my house and we had a whole conversation about you and he told me how he broke thing off with you so he could be with someone better."she clenched her jaw.
"I really hope that you didn't get your hopes up because I think he has already dropped you and he never picking that ass back up okay." Soon as I said that Odell, Tyree's dad got up and started to talk. "Hi everyone, Thanks for coming to our annual Fourth of July barbeque and I want to say eat, socialize, laugh, and have fun. Oh, yeah and before I go, I want everyone to know I have an announcement".
I look at Tyree and he shrugged "My only child Tyree is having his first child with the beautiful Chanel Ford" I instantly felt sick to my stomach. "And they are also engaged so please give a round of applause to my boy, I know you'll be a great father." I look at Tyree across the room to see him staring straight at Chanel with a look I have never seen on his face.
I turn to see Miranda walking towards me. She grabbed my hand and leads me to the front door. When we reach the front door Mrs.Powers stopped me. "Mercy don't go, I know that this is a lot for you to take in but it's not true I know that Tyree never loved her and that he is not going to marry her so please just stay for him." I look at her with tears in my eyes.
"Why is this happening to me" she hugged me "It's okay, just don't leave ill talk to him okay" I wipe away my tears "Okay, I'll stay but if she talks to me I will have to let her have it" she laughed "I'll love if you did that" we smiled "now come on and eat, got me running in my L.V. shoes" we walked in the house and proceeded to talk.
Tyree's P.O.V
While Chanel went on about what she wanted I stood there and just gave the most annoyed look ever. "Tyree we have to think about what's good for the baby." "Bitch, Who gave you the right to come to my parents tell them a lie and act like I'm gonna change my damn mind. I'm going to tell you this once and that's it.
I will be taking a DNA test and if I'm the father I will be there for the baby and I will pay child support but as far as us. we are done no more" she got mad "I bet this is all because of that bitch mercy". "You damn right she is the reason I realized that I needed to drop your ass." she let out a grunt.
"Ughhh, I hate you and I wish that I would have never met your dirty ass and I hope you happy with that bitch." I laughed at her "If you're done you can leave my parents house okay bye" I left out of the room and went to find my dad to tell him. Why the fuck did I have to fuck her.
So I guess I have to apologize for the delay but I got my first job and I have been really busy but I will make sure to upload again and I will be uploading two chapters on his birthday so yea be looking forward to that.
