"Just wait, Brynn. You won't have to do everything for me." Mackenzie furiously opened the door to her apartment whom she shared with her sister, storming into her room and opening up her MacBook Air.

She rapidly typed on her keyboard, leading herself to n3rv3.com/p1ay.

A video immediately started playing on her computer screen.

Hello and welcome to Nerve. A game of truth or dare, minus the truth. Watchers pay to watch players do dares, where players earn thousands of dollars. There's only two ways to quit them game. Bail or fail. Don't forget, snitches get stitches. Are you a watcher or a player?

Mackenzie hesitated, leaning her mouse towards the watcher button, but immediately pressing on player.

She typed in a username; kenzie_zieg04. It started to trace everything about her, including her favorite flavor of ice cream.

"Introvert my ass." Mackenzie muttered to herself closing her computer as it read FIRST DARE IN 2 HR & 59 MINS.

The website immediately popped up on her phone, revealing much about Mackenzie.

Mackenzie ignored all the letters on her screen, exiting the website, then calling her closest friend since birth, Tyler.

"What's up honey boo?" Tyler answered the phone with intimate music in the background.

"I signed up for Nerve." Mackenzie strongly inhaled, putting what she did to realization. "And what's with the music?"

"You interrupted Justin and I's business, and what the hell?!" Tyler practically screamed.

"Sorry gay lovebirds," She dryly chuckled. "And it was only because Brynn humiliated me."

"See, I never got why you became friends with her."

"Right now, me too." Mackenzie hung up right after, slamming herself to her bed and groaned.

"What am I doing with my life?"

"That's your first dare?" Tyler grabbed Mackenzie's rose gold iPhone 7 out of her petite hands, glaring at the screen.

MAKE OUT WITH A STRANGER FOR 1 MINUTE

"I guess so," Mackenzie's shoulders dropped low, worsening her posture.

"Okay, well, what about that guy?" Tyler tilted his head towards a middle aged man sitting at the diner's counter.

"I don't think it would be legal." The brunette stuttered, keeping her distance from the stranger.

"What about him?" Her best friend pointed at a middle schooler.

"He's like 12, no way." Mackenzie rolled her eyes, pacing through the diner for somebody to complete her dare with.

"Maybe a girl?" Tyler suggested.

"I'm a boy kisser, sorry."

"Ooh! What about him?" Tyler pointed towards a guy about their age, dressed in almost all black while holding a guitar.

He had ruffled dirty blonde hair and striking green eyes, Mackenzie's face immediately turned red.

"He's hot." She whispered to Tyler. He seemed familiar, but Mackenzie couldn't put her finger on it. "He goes to our school, but I've never seen him talk."

"Hot and mysterious, I love it." He was eye candy to both Tyler and Mackenzie.

HURRY UP

The phone screen started flashing, signaling for them to hurry and finish the dare.

"Come on, Kenz. More watchers are coming." The watched count increased in the corner of the screen, making the comment section flood.

Mackenzie took a large gulp as a sign of nervousness.

"You're being paid $500 to make out with a total daddy, go for it." Tyler claimed, lightly pushing Mackenzie towards him.

Mackenzie stood there for a few seconds, realizing what she's about to do.

"Daddy!" Tyler whisper yelled, laughing.

"Fine!" Mackenzie slowly walked towards the guy's table, sitting next to him in the booth.

"Hi, I'm Mackenzie. I've seen you around, but I haven't properly met you. Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that you're super hot and my best friend over there thinks you're a daddy. I'm going to make out with you now." Mackenzie rapidly explained as the boy looked at her as if she was an alien.

She immediately smashed her lips into his, starting off slow, but growing more passionate.

Mackenzie linked her arms around his neck as his hands curled around her waist. They moved in sync as strangers watched them get intimate.

"59 Mississippi, 60 Mississippi!" Tyler whispered to himself as he recorded Mackenzie finishing up her dare.

Mackenzie opened her eye for a split second, to see Tyler holding a thumbs up.

She didn't care, she enjoyed the feeling of this "stranger's" soft lips. It didn't seem like he wanted to stop either.

The comment section started blowing up on her account.

Minutes passed by and they still haven't stopped, Mackenzie's page kept growing and growing.

"Yup, thank you." Mackenzie pulled away, smiling, then gently patting his back. He just looked at her in awe. As if she was the angel that fell from heaven.
