"What's the matter, Kamerin? Cat got your tongue? Or should I say Aaron's got your tongue. I mean I saw your tongue in his mouth during that steamy session."

I wanted to close my eyes and act like I hadn't heard what I had. But I know my problem wouldn't disappear if I wished it away. I spun around to see Raea.

Raea was Matthews cousin, well mine too. But she never liked me. Mom always said it was because I was prettier than her but I think there was more to it. I'm pretty sure it had to do with me scoring the lead role in the commercial she tried out for. And then I became an internet sensation. So she thinks that the commercial led to becoming famous and wishes that it was her.

"My name is Kara. You know that." I spat.

"Kara. Why don't you talk to me? I mean we are related after all, cuz." She spoke slowly, as if I couldn't understand her.

"Raea, girl I don't know why you hate me but nobody can know who I am. Matthew knows who I am obviously but I haven't talked to him so if you could kindly back the hell off." I said, menacingly

"Kara... you're so full of crap. You think that because you have two lives that you're better than everyone. Oh honey, nobody even likes you. Laura never liked you. You were her least favorite child, she wished I was her daughter instead of you." Every word she said dripped with hatred. Her eyes appeared to glow with anger.

"Raea, I don't know why you feel this way but my mom loved me enough to give me up to protect me. I'm not better than anyone. If anything I'm worse than everyone. My parents don't get to see me because some psychotic guy thinks he's my dad!" I tried to explain my situation to her but she didn't listen. I turned around to walk back to the pool where I knew I would be safe, even if Matt was in there.

"Oh hell no!" Raea grabbed my arm to pull me closer to her and began to punch me furiously. She grabbed my hair as she hit me and pulled it so hard that I fell backwards. I only got 4 punches in before I gave up. There was no way I could beat her, she was about a foot taller than me and weighed 50 pounds more.

"HEY!! GET OFF OF MY GIRLFRIEND!!!" I heard Aaron scream from the pool along with the loud chaos that came from the other boys mouths. She punched me so hard that my head hit the ground and everything went black.
