"Kara?" I could hear Aaron talking. But I was floating above him and myself. I was laying in a hospital bed, with so many wires hanging out of my body. Aaron had slouched over with his head resting on my motionless hand.
What was going on? Why was I here? Why could I see myself in a hospital bed?
Then I remembered that Raea attacked me in the hallway of the hotel. I thought that I had a slight concussion? That didn't explain why I was in the hospital in a... coma?
"Hello Mr. Reynolds, any activity on her monitors?" Aaron and Carter probably both said they were my siblings so they could see me. Dr. Fitzpatrick asked, although he already knew the answer to that. "Well I'm going to check to see if her brain swelling has gone down, but judging by her vitals I'd say it's still swelling. We've already drilled a hole to try to relieve the pressure, our next step would be to remove a part of her skull." He said sadly. I could tell he thought I was a lost cause.
What had happened that my health was declining so rapidly?
"Well how about her stomach? Her legs? Her spine? How could this have happened in the ambulance? Who would run an ambulance off the road?!" Aaron started to sob, he couldn't take the pain.
"I assure you Mr. Reynolds, the police at working on it. Her legs are still swollen and we won't know much about the extent of her spinal injury until she's awake. I'm sorry but we don't know much at this point in her recovery."
Someone ran the ambulance off the road? What about Raea? Was anyone keeping tabs on my attacker?! I couldn't believe that I was more than likely going to die because of Raea. It was all her fault.......
I want REVENGE.
