Silence fell in the classroom when the principal went in.
“Good morning Mrs. Parish”
“Good morning class. Miss Santos can I talk to you for a second”
“Yes Ma’am”
Ma’am Dom went out and after a few seconds she went in wearing a sad face.
“Class we will change the order of your seating arrangement because the principal wants a formal and organized one. So on the right side will be the boys and starting with be B-1 then B-2 on his left. Same as the girls, proceed now to your seats.”
“Sayang” JC whispered.
“Ano sabi mo sss?” Aly said
“Sabi ko Sss sorry kanina haha”
“Haha okay sige pupunta na ako sa upuan ko”
JC went to the first line while Aly went to the second line.
“I see you have met my bestfriend” A girl beside Aly said.
“Who? JC?”
“Yup. By the way I am Elizabeth Mae Sunga”
“Hi! Yeah I got a help from him when we turned on the airconditioner earlier”
“Oh I see, what’s your name again? Ani? Anne?”
“Ann Ly Tan”
“You’re a Chinese? You don’t look like one. Your eyes are big and not chinky”
“I am a half- Chinese but I lived all my life here in the Philippines. Yeah my eyes are big because I got it from my mom.”
Grabe nosebleed to. English speaking.
“Ah ganun ba haha. Alam mo tong libro na to? Story of my life? Maganda siya”
“Hindi eh I prefer Almanac, Encyclopedia and such. Mas gusto ang factual books”
Grabe akala ko mauubusan na ako ng English dito
