Months had passed ever since Megumi had moved to Tokyo. Everything was different for both, but megumi found things a lot difficult than they should be. Her mother hadn't had enough time to pay attention to her and Jo. She was slowly losing a long and torturing battle to herself.

She was in contact with Yuta of course, but she wasn't herself anymore. When she decided to leave Osaka, happiness was drown off of her. She was just pretending to be okay in front of everyone.

Megumi cut her meals, she barely ate. She didn't know why she was doing that, she just didn't feel like eating most of the time. She was tired.

Every day in school seemed hell, new girls new boys, new strangers she didn't feel like getting to know. It wasn't her life anymore.

"Hey Meg, you look pale like a corpse!" Her brother joked from her side as she dragged her feet to the entrance of the school. It was true, today she was feeling extremely off, she was dizzy and had a massive headache. But pain killers didn't help. Megumi shrugged his comment off, she wasn't in mood for that.

Before stepping foot inside the school yard, her phone vibrated inside her jacket's pocket. She knew it was Yuta, her one and only hope.

have a nice day, pay attention in class, drink water and eat! <3

She felt really nice that somebody was there to remind her of the simplest things, she never cared to follow. She felt guilt for saying lies to Yuta, but she didn't know what else to do.

She had missed him dearly, she missed his sweet scent, his warm hugs, his soft lips. But then, she was afraid to see him after so long, she feared that he would get angry at her for what she had become. She had lost weight, but still managed everything and to her surprise nobody had noticed. At times she felt okay and fine, but then she'd feel extremely unmotivated.

She sat down and it was as if life was drown out of her. She took a big breath, her lungs burnt but she didn't know why. Her mind just wouldn't concentrate in class, she wasn't feeling it.

She wanted to talk to somebody, and Yuta wasn't on the list. Megumi didn't want to burden him with her own miserable problems and concerns, even tho she knew he'd give her the best advice. She wished her mother was there with her, supporting her but she was too busy with work and her new boyfriend.

The school came to an end, but Megumi didn't want to go home. She wanted fresh air.

She walked inside a random building and went to the rooftop. The grey clouds looked so nice, it was just the perfect weather.

She stood at the very end, her eyes closed. She thought several times of the people she'd leave behind. But she was selfish, she didn't want to wait anymore, she didn't like the life she was living.

She took a step forward, and no one was there to hold her back.

Megumi was finally at peace.

Megumi was finally free.
