This is a poem entitled to the main character of our story, Rose Calisse. Her story has just begun on her new life.
Clouds, dark and ashy, filled her skies,
her eyes soaked with tears, "I'll never be happy" she lies.
As the hours flew by, and her life became shorter,
she only let out sighs and sometimes cried in a corner.
One day, just like any other,
the sun rose high, with it bringing magnificent color.
The little flower finally bloomed and grew,
and suddenly her soul was more than just blue.
With bravery and power, she smiled
no more wilting, for this flower child.
Her roots grew deeper and stronger,
her sadness she managed to conquer.
As our little story comes to a close,
our flowers happiness will be known as the Forever Rose.
To anyone who suffers with depression, anxiety etc. This story was and is for you. Rose was a character close to my heart who will struggle always but when she found her light, she knows how to turn to it in order to live in her tough world. I hope you find your light.
