If She Could Start Over

Preschool Part 2

  It's been three weeks and John hasn't heard back from his girlfriend since the shooting at their local mall. Alice had gone to the mall to buy new clothes for their daughters. She was in Justice, looking for some summer clothes for Jordan, Kate, and Melissa because Jordan and Kate were out of preschool for summer break, and that's when she heard a gunshot ring out from the food court.

*three weeks ago*

Reporter: "There has been a shooting at Rowlandson Mall. An armed man about 23 years old, started shooting randomly because he is a psychopath and doesn't like to be angered apparently.  He was caught running around the center of the mall. Here's what the police had to say. Carly?"

Police: "Thank you. A 23-year-old white male, identified to be Johnathan Sanderson, was found running around the center area of the mall when we got here. He is now being taken in for questioning and further discussion on him will be revealed next week. As for everyone inside, many victims were seriously injured and many more died. Further details next week. Back to you Samantha. "

Reporter: "Thank you. From weekly news, we'll see you next time."

*End of Flashback*

  Jordan was the only one around when John was listening to the news. She asked her dad if Alice was still alive and all he could say was that he didn't know.  They have been waiting for 3 weeks and haven't seen any sign of Alice. Jordan told her sisters, even though Melissa was too young to understand. John and the girls are worried that Alice isn't alive, but they also hope that she is. At this point,  all they can do is wait.
