LILYS POV:

"I don't know." I whispered. "What does it say?"

He tossed mt phone across the bed at me.

*LEAVE HIM TONIGHT. I'M NOT PLAYING GAMES WITH YOU. HE'S MINE.* The text read.

"What's that all about?" He asked me. I was quiet. "Lily?"

"Whoever it is is threatening me. And you. And Karson and Kinley and Emilie." Tears rolled down my face.

"Why?" He asked.

"They want to me to break with you. They said if I didn't, they'd kill me , you, and the babies. They stalk us, Vic. They send pictures of us together, and it's creepy, I'm sorry, but I can't put the babies in danger." As I stopped talking, mi realized Vic had been holding his head in his hands the whole time I spoke.

"Vic?" I said, and he looked up at me, his eyes filled with anger.

"I cannot fucking believe this!" He yelled. "She's fucking at it again."

"Who?" I asked.

"Carolyn Stephens."

"Who?"

"She was my girlfriend in high school. I broke up with because she was absolutely obsessed with me. At first, it was cute, but it started to get weird, so I ended it. Ever since, she's stalked every girlfriend I've had, somehow getting their numbers and threatening them."

My mouth formed an O, as I took in what Vic has just told me.

"So, what? What do I do?"

"Well.." Vic sighed. "I'm not sure what she's capable of, really." Sadness swept over his face. "I don't think we should be together until we can fix this. We have to find her. But until we do, we can risk her hurting the kids."

"I know." I whispered. Vic got off the bed, and wrapped his arms around me.

"I'm sorry." He whispered in my ear. "This isn't forever okay?"

I simply nodded and hugged him back. Vic grabbed for his phone.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"I'm going to call her. And then, I'm going to change my number."

I sat down on the bed and watched him. He waited for her to pick up, and when she did, Vic calmly said, "Hello, is this Carolyn?"

I couldn't hear what she said, all I could hear was Vic.

"Hi, Carolyn, this is Vic... Yes, Vic Fuentes... No, I'm not calling to get back together."

Then, I had an idea.

"Yes!" I whispered. "Tell her you want to get back together. I have a plan."

He looked at me like I was insane, but he shrugged.

"Actually." He said, shaking his head. "I did. Meet me tomorrow?"

She said something and Vic rolled his eyes.

"Okay." He said. "I'll be there." He hung up.

"What's your plan?" He asked, flopping himself down on the bed beside me.

"Well, I don't know where to find her, except for wherever she's meeting you tomorrow." I said. He nodded for me to go on. "I absolutely will not oet her threaten the kids. No way in hell. That's prison right there, threatening to kill someone."

Vic looked at me, knowing where I was going. "I'm meeting her tomorrow, getting her in a place where she can't hide. You're bringing the police."

"Correct."

The next day:

LILYS POV:

Vic dropped me off around the corner from the police station. I was sort of nervous, scared that our plan wouldn't work, but I had all the text messages Carolyn had sent me. Evidence that she was a psychopath.

I sat down on a bench outside of the small brick building, and waited for Vic to text me.

Of course, I could see him from where I was sitting. Vic was meeting Carolyn at the small restaurant conveniently across the street. All I could do was hope Carolyn wouldn't look across the street and recognize me.

I watched as Vic took a seat at a small table on the patio outside the restaurant, and my mind began to drift.

Vic was.. How could I put this? Perfect in every way. His soft brown, wavy hair blew around his face, in the soft October breeze. He had warm, brown eyes that could make anyone fall in love. I certainly fell in love. No doubt about it. Vic was "the one."

Just then, my phone buzzed. I looked down to see I had a text from Vic.

*DO IT NOW*

I looked across the street and saw Vic was no longer alone at the table. Sitting across him was a woman with carrot orange hair. She was a bit heavy set, and short. And ugly.

I saw she was yelling at him.

"Who are you texting?" She yelled, damn near jumping over the table.

Vics eyes got wide, as he whispered for her to calm down. He shook his head, sliding his phone is his pocket.

I got up and walked up to the door to the police station. My hands were shaking. What if my plan didn't work?

I pulled the door open, and stepped in. Warm air brushed me face, along with the smell of coffee. I slowly walked straight to the desk where a young police officer sat, typing on a computer.

"Can I help you?" He said flatly, but he looked at me expectantly.

"I-" What do I say? "I have to report harassment, and threatening a murder." It came out like a question.

"I need more details please, ma'am."

"Well, my boyfriends ex girlfriend has been stalking us. Somehow, she got my number, and she texts me, sending me picture of my boyfriend and me. Yesterday, she threatened to kill my friends' children if I didn'tbreak up with him."

"Do you have the messages?" He asked, standing up. I pulled up the messages on my phone and handed it to him. As he read them, I watched Vic out the window. He looked absolutely miserable, as she talked, flailing her arms.

"Do you know her name or location?" The officer asked me.

"Carolyn Stephens. And she's right across the street."

His head snapped up, and he looked out the door. "Where?"

I pointed her and Vic  out, and he got another officer. The two of them walked across the street, hands on their guns.

I have to admit, I smiled a bit when Carolyn tried to run, but they tackled her in the middle of the street and cuffed her.

I felt as though a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders when Vic walked through the doors, and wrapped his arms around me.

"She'll never be a problem again." He said.
