Now that you know about Adam, Keep in mind that Andrew has NO IDEA about the whole tragedy. Being lily, Lily, she never opens up to people because she didn't want to look pathetic.
She took her computer out, and face timed Maya. She told everything about Andrew asking her to go to prom, and how she worries the same thing that happened between her and Adam would happen again.
"Don't worry babe, i know you'll look hot and make the wall mart version of disney prom look expensive! I got your back and enjoy the night with him okay! Take care of that sweet guy will you?"
Lily took notes from her friend Maya and was excited about the whole prom thing.

"Remember students, dress the best you can and get a chance to be the king and the queen of prom for the night!"
Announced a student over the school's speaker. Making sure, every.single.sad student hear about the prom thing. It's prom day and Lily could already imagine the spoiled brats squealing when they found their cleavage dresses in pink.
As Lily was walking through the corridor and having a conversation with Maya, she saw Adam not with Macey nor anyone. He wasn't wearing his casual football shirts and no one was hanging at his locker with him. Adam fixed his bag's stripe and saw Lily giving a glance, he wanted to talk to her but she quickly ran away.
Running away from the one she loved.

Back home, she had everything laid out on her bed sheets. Shoes, Dress and accessories. Her mum came into her room with a box. Lily was sitting on her bed, unsure to go or not. She didn't want her heart to suffer again.
Her mother tapped her on the shoulder from the back, and passed the box to her. She opened the box and saw a necklace used by her mother from the day her mother went to prom.
"It gives you a good luck. The luck i had when i met your father" Her mother said.
"aw mum, but, why would i need this for? You know I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have this wonderful family"
"I want you to feel that you are special and appreciated by someone. Hurry up darling, dress up! Don't be late or no sausages for you!"
"Fineee" Said Lily guarding her mum to leave her room and close the door.
She went down the stairs, fully dressed and accessorised. She looked so beautiful, in her blue satin dress. When she came at the final of the stairs, she looked up and Andrew skilled and said
"Never knew a garbage bag could turn out to be this hot"
"So, trash can wear tuxedos nowadays?"
"Yeah, and you're looking at the hottest trash out there"
They both giggled and smiled with a blush to each other. Making jokes in the car and even when they arrived. at prom.
As they came and stopped in front the door to enter prom, Lily came in front of Andrew and said
"I present to you..THE WALLMART VERSION OF DISNEY!" as she opens the door
"Not bad" Andrew giving his critiques.
It was perfect timing when the came, it was the time for the slow dance.
But Lily being casually Lily refused to have a slow dance with Andrew. Andrew whispered to her, 'follow me'
She agreed and after minutes of walking like a shadow, the sneaked up to the dj stage. The dj was gone and had the slow dance song on put, Andrew changed the song to a hip hop dance song and everyone was shocked.
From that on, the called themselves superheroes. Because they saved all life and souls in once.
But even after doing so, Both of them was bored being formal. They decided to quit prom and ran to McDonalds. It's not everyday a McDonalds worker said
'Nice to meet you, students who are actually doing the right thing by quitting prom'
It was pretty much obvious when you see a person in a tuxedo, and a girl in a dress goes to McDonalds, "Ditched prom, i bet"
