Mae stood on her toes and opened a cabinet. "Go buy more food, now." While Otori continued to type, she responded in a monotonous voice. "No, I have documents to hand in tomorrow." "And while you do that we'll just sit here and starve to death, so either you get up off your ass and feed us, or you could be found dead and eaten by your three sisters." Mae spit out the words like they were venom at her sister. "Fine, I'll go shopping in a minute." Otori stood up, grabbed her computer, and walked out the room.
"Feelings are trivial and get in the way of progress remember that."
