•time skip to Christmas Eve•

Ryleigh's POV

It was about 2:30 in the afternoon and we were supposed to be at the Mills' house at 4. I love Christmas so much! And I'm excited to spend it with Max!

Maxie💙: what's wrong?! are you okay?!

Ry❤️: nothing's wrong I'm fine just excited

Maxie💙: I hate you

Ry❤️: what'd I do?😂

Maxie💙: you scared me half to death and I was ready to run over to your house

Ry❤️: sowwy Maxie

Maxie💙: yeah whatever

Ry❤️: anyways are you excited for Christmas?

Maxie💙: I guess but I'm more excited for my birthday

Ry❤️: of course you are

Maxie💙: I love my birthday

Ry❤️: yeah I know

Ry❤️: I have to start getting ready so I'll see you later

Maxie💙: nooooo don't leave

Ry❤️: I'll facetime you mr. clingy

I called Max on FaceTime and he answered right away. I watched as his face popped up on my phone screen.

"Hey beautiful." He said.

"Yeah right."

"It's true!"

I rolled my eyes.

"You have to wait here while I go change, okay?" I said.

"Why can't you bring your phone?" He asked and smirked.

"You're gross."

"I was kidding! Just hurry up and change."

I went into the bathroom and changed.

When I came out I grabbed my phone and brought it into the bathroom.

"I missed you." He said.

"This is why I called you clingy." I laughed.

"You love me."

"That's a true statement."

I was about to put my makeup on when I was interrupted.

"What are you doing?" Max asked.

"Putting makeup on?" I said more like a question.

"Don't."

"Why?"

"You don't need it." Aww that was sweet of him.

"You can't stop me from putting it on." I said.

"Ryleigh just please don't."

"We'll see..."

Then he ended the call. I wonder why.

A few minutes later I was in the middle of doing my makeup when the door opened. It was Max. Of course.

"What if I had been going to the bathroom?" I asked and went back to my makeup.
