Goggles: All swimmers use goggles to help them see under water and naivgate where they are going. It might be for circle swimming or a meet.

Streamline: Once you push off the wall from a flipturn or a start. Swimmers go into what we call a streamline. This is the fastest you will be in the water after the wall. You stay in a level line for a few short moments. Then start your doliphin kick or breaststroke break out.
Break out: A break out is when the swimmer finally reaches the surface after streamlining.
Doliphin kick: Doliphin kick is a up and down motion a swimmer makes witht her legs. The legs stay together to create momenton.
Flutter kick: Flutter kick is where your legs kick up and down in opposite directions each time.
Breast stroke kick: Basically this kick is wher eyou pull your knees up towarss your elbow and then out like an airplanes wings. Then try and smash them together like a soilder.
Butterfly(Fly): Most swimmers hate this stroke simply because it takes so much enegry to do right.

Backstroke(Back): This stroke alot of swimmers use to either catch their breath after a set. Or they love it because of how layed back it can be.

Breaststroke(Breast): Swimmer who use this stroke usally tend to be smaller and have light bodyweight. Not that every breaststroke swimer is small in size. It just helps them do better them the rest of us.

Freestyle(Free): This stroke every swimmer uses. This is the most basic stroke out of all four.

Backstroke starts: These type of starts are different from the rest. You have to use your legs to push off the wall and dive up and over into the water to start your streamline.
