Jonas's P.O.V

The Giver puts his hands on my back and I was transported into this dark house. There were many hallways and I didn't know if it was a good memory or a bad one, but the ominous atmosphere is startling compared to the memory of a broken leg. I looked left and right. There was a girl, about my age, calling for her parents. "Mom? Dad?" I walked behind her and she slid her finger across this device which illuminated the hallway. She begins walking towards the room near the other room at the end of the hall. I heard an older woman. "Don't worry, it'll be alright." I was nervous, something about this woman, it is very disturbing. The woman said "Take another step, I will hurt your sister." The girl stood still she looked around the room, frantically. I hear a slice. The woman was holding a girl, similar to Lily's age, presumably the sister of the girl. The girl's heart shatters, she was breathing heavily, the object on her face holding on. I felt bad, "Well look at this, if killing your sister wasn't enough." The girl steps backwards, her medium length brown hair sticking to her body. I felt the blood in my throat, it feels like it's suffocating me. I hold my neck and I see the woman holding a large weapon. She stabs the young girl in the stomach, drags the weapon down and opens up the girl's inside. I hold my stomach, I felt as my food was going to come up from my stomach. The woman's hands reach into the girl's stomach and smiles. "What? Is it wrong to do this?" She smiles, wickedly and licks the intestines. I became disgusted by this. The woman took a bite out of the bloodied organ and commented "This is good, want to try?" "No! No! No!" "See, haven't you realized, whoever holds the power, holds the world?" The girl shot up from her bed, "It.. was just a nightmare.." The girl muttered. The memory ended and the words that entered my mind were terror, cannibalism, and nightmare.
