I've always been an outsider. I don't know why but I feel so...not normal. I don't mean like the teenage girl depression and all alone forever crap. I mean I don't feel you know...human. Like I'm not really meant to be who or what I am.

My name's Artemis Penelope Boius (Boy-us) or just Artie. I have an issue with my voice. When I speak I stutter most of my words. I'm fifteen years old and I go to a private school in Arizona. Everyone at school are total snobs. I guess people think different of me because I come from a really really wealthy family. My grandmother is Oprah Winfrey. Yeah. My father is African american and my mother is white. But I'm white. I mean I'm really tan but I'm not African American tan.

One more thing. I'm adopted. My parents died a few years after I was born and had no family left in the country. Except for Grandma Oprah. Grandma doesn't really have enough time to take care of me because you know...she's Oprah. Even though she can't take care of me full time I spend every vacation we get away from school at her house.

Whenever I'm there we always have so much fun. We go to the movies, go shopping, go to water parks, sometimes she even takes me on her show and she interviews me on camera.

When I'm not at Grandma Oprah's or at school I'm at home with my foster parents. Tara and Harvey Boius. Both of them are celebrity doctors so that helps with the wealth in my family quite a bit. Surprisingly I look a lot like my foster mother so it's almost like I was never adopted.

I really like my school besides everyone in it. I have yet to meet anyone who has given me the slightest bit of friendship at school. The school I go to is called Seton Prep. The school is for grades 9-12 and has a total of 588 students.

Today is Friday so I'm planning on staying in my dorm all weekend. It's what I do every weekend. And I was just on my way to my dorm after the school day was over when something completely ruined my day.

I was just minding my own business like a regular fifteen year old when something happened that has never happened before. I walked through the hall when I bumped into Aaron Jason, the most absolute popular guy in school. Aaron is probably one of the best looking guys you'll ever meet. When you first meet him you'll think that he looks like a character from a book you read, or he's the guy you picture your dream guy to look like. On the downside he's a total a-hole. I'm not even kidding you.

As I was saying I had accidentally bumped into Aaron and the unbelievable had happened. He apologized. I was expecting him to insult me or something.

Here's what happened. I had grabbed my dark blue back and started walking towards my dorm. Before I put my backpack on my back I was go in through to make sure I had everything. When Aaron and I slammed into each other. I had fallen to the floor on the impact. Aaron looked at me, smiled, offered me his hand, and said to me,

"Sorry bout that. Here let me help you."

            "Umm th-thank you A-Aaron. And I-I should be the o-one that's so-sorry I shoul-should've b-been paying atte-attention."

"Don't even bother it was one-hundred percent me. You're Artemis right?"

           "Y-yeah. I a-am. H-h-how do y-you kn-know my na-name?"

"Why do you sound so nervous?"

           " I have a st-stuttering pr-problem."

"That must suck. I'm sorry again."

           "I-i-i-it's a-alright. I-I-I'm ge-get-getting he-help for i-it."
