              YOUR POV.
finally yours and ethan's convo ended . it felt weird to talk to him again , ever since jr high he hardly looks at you let alone thinks about you . you've always thought ethan was the cuter brother but you would never tell that to him , it'd just boost his ego even more . you put down your phone on your bed and got your backpack from your floor by the door . you began working out your algebra equations when suddenly you started to drift off . your parents had been fighting for days now , screaming at each other , their harsh words bouncing through the walls of your house , making it very difficult to sleep at night . after what felt like forever of sleeping you heard a knock at the door .
" CRAP ! " you thought , " i completely forgot i had a ' date ' with ethan " you said to yourself while you ran down the stairs to greet him . you opened the door and instantly saw his smile face
once he realized you weren't dressed according to what he told you . " why aren't you ready ?! "
he said with frustration in his voice .
" i'm sorry i completely forgot . i was working on homework and i must of fallen asleep , i haven't been sleeping a lot lately and .. " you quickly said remembering how you ramble when you get nervous or embarrassed, but in this case , it was both .
" shhhh y/n " he interrupted you . " it's okay . we still have time you can change real fast " he said with a small smile forming in the corner of his lips .
you both then sat there just staring at each other for what seemed like forever when he then looked away and started for your stairs .
you walked into your room with ethan following . you grabbed a t shirt and black sweatpants you had in your dresser and almost started changing when you realized ethan was in the room ..
" can you like , turn around , please ..? " you said kind of shyly .
" oh yeah sorry " he said turning around so that his back was facing you .
you changed as fast as you could and put your long black hair in a ponytail.
      * time passes *
you guys are in ethan's car but the only sound is the light music . no one is talking . nothing is happening . but suddenly your favorite song comes on and you get a huge smile on your face .
" what are you smiling about " he asks while laughing a bit .
" this is my all time favorite song ! " you say a little too excited  .
he then reaches out his arm and turns it up really loud . you smile at him with the biggest smile on your face while Attention by Charlie Puth plays .
and then something you never through would happen randomly happened... ethan started singing alone with you ...
he was actually pretty good , which was shocking because he's never sang in front of anyone before . everything was perfect , when the sound of the song faded . you looked over to see Ethan staring at you with a grin on his face .
" what ? " you ask with a little laugh .
" we are here " he says while practically running out of the car to the other side so he can open the door for you .
" thank you " you say a little surprised.
" any time princess " he says a winks . you laugh a little but then realize that you guys are in the middle of the woods .
" ethan where are you taking me ? " you ask a million times as you guys walk up a hill , a long ass hill i might add . once you reached the top you notice a tent built already .
" ethan , don't you think it's a little soon for us to sleep in the same .. tent ? .. as each other " you say laughing at yourself .
" relax y/n , it's not like i'm trying to have sex . here , come here "
he grabbed your hand and took you to the back of the tent where a telescope was standing . you looked in it and notice how the moon was full tonight , it was so beautiful...

ETHANS POV
god , she's so beautiful. i doubt she remembers but i had the biggest crush on her as a kid and it never went away i guess ... i kinda pushed her away because i was scared to get attached so i just went from girl to girl but being here with her is changing me .. idk if i want that .. idk if i'm ready ... i just want to kiss her and hug her and never let her go , but i feel like she hates me . i mean i would too . i left her and she had no one ... how could i do that to her ?! she deserves all the happiness in the world , what if i can't give her that ... what am i even thinking we literally have hung out once since we last talked ... in 6th grade ...
i was completely lost in thoughts when suddenly i heard thunder .
" shit , y/n , here take this " i took off my sweatshirt and gave it to her as we ran back to the car .
" i'm so sorry ! i checked the weather and it said it would be perfectly fine , i just wanted this to be perfect since we haven't talked in a long time . ugh of course it's all ruined you probably hate it anyways " i quickly said not meaning to say half of it when she cut me off by laughing .. why is she laughing ?
" what's so funny " i ask confused .
" it's just cute when you get upset or embarrassed about something " she said still laughing . god her laugh was like music .
" stop , i'm a man , i'm not cute . " i said kind of stubborn, but clearly joking . she just laughed and we started driving again .
after a long hour or so of talking about everything we missed in each other's lives we reach her house .
" thank you for tonight , even though it rained , i had a lot of fun ethan " i didn't even have time to responded because she already closed her front door .
