When I woke up I was in a cell tied up by my hands and feet. The rope dug into my skin and a green light limited my vision. I didn't actually know where I was or how I got here but the most I could make sense of was a name of a girl named...Abby. The name swam through my head and gave me a headache like no other. The pain screeched through my skull and suddenly I remembered something...
"Hey Abby wait up!" I ran through the open fields of grass and flowers lit by the tons of fireflies surrounding us. It was night and only the full moon that filled the sky and the distant city gave me enough light to see.
"It's so beautiful!" Abby twirled and spinned under the light of the full moon full of life and joy. The fireflies leaped off their perches and flew around her. She laughed and smiled, and I couldn't help but realize how brightly she glowed.
I chuckled, "Abby would you quit spinning your going to give yourself a-"
Abby stopped and faced me, "Don't you think?"
She wiped a piece of her hair out of her face and stared at me with such beautiful eyes. "What do you mean?" I slowly choked out.
"Don't you think it's beautiful, this scenery?"
"Um...yeah." She gave me a pouty look, "I mean of course. It's amazing and breathtaking and..." I babbled looking up at the stars.
Abby fell to the ground and aroused a whole bunch of pollon and fireflies. "Man, I wish I could stay like this forever."
I walked next to her and layed beside her as she reached her hand out and tried to grab the moon. "I would if I could but you know we can't do that Abby."
She sighed and plopped her hand on her stomach. "Yeah I know. I guess i'll be fine, as long as i'm with you that is. With you by my side anywhere is paradise."
I was shocked at her response and turned my head to her. "Abby..."
She smiled and giggled at me before jumping up on her feet. "Race you to the spiral tree." She began running towards the big twisty tree in the distance.
"Hey!" I jumped up and began running after her laughing. "No fair you cheated!"
"Did not!"
"Did to!" I ran faster and tackled her to the grass. We began laughing loudly and we rolled across the field.
After we stopped I realized I was sitting on top of her. I felt really akward and attempted to get up but Abby pulled me back down staring at me with her bright expression and beautifully lit eyes. She sat up and kissed me on my cheek. "Did not..." She said softly grinning at me. I grinned back and moved off her laying by her side as we watched the moon and the star and made our own silent wishes. My wish was...things will never change, that I will never forget this moment for as long as I live and that those people never find her. I wished that I would always stay by her side, and by the smile on her face as she stared at the big bright moon I know...she had wished the same thing.
My eyes opened up slowly and I had a groggy feeling come over me. "Hey you finally awake?" My eyes were blurry as I lifted my head up slowly to see who was talking. The voice seemed so familiar as if i heard it all my life but I couldn't make out who's it belonged to. As my vision adjusted I noticed a figure standing by my cell holding something. "This never gets any less akward does it? Anyway here's your meal, you better eat up; they'll kill you if you don't."
My vision got better enough to see the guy as he put my tray in my cell. I couldn't believe my eyes as I seen...myself looking back at me like a mirror in 3-D. I jumped back and the guy just stood there looking at me. He was wearing a green uniform and a red sash. There was a scar on his right eye but besides that he looked exactly like me.
