Awfully Quiet (19)

I glanced at the three cousins on the other side of the classroom. It was safe to say that I fucked up and this isn't some situation I can just pull myself up from a hole that I dug myself in. Great, I thought to myself. 

I continue to doodle. 

"The Cadwell ringleader is awfully quiet today," Mr. Brown announced. I gave a once-over and immediately regretted my decision. His upper lip seemed to be sweating along with his shiny forehead, I then eyed him with a look of disgust. His eyes trailed to Francesca and he then gave me a smirked. 

Everyone in class looked at our direction, watching in amusement. 

"You seem to be enjoying yourself too much, Mr. B and maybe when you go back home, you can have a nick little wank thinking about me... Or perhaps Francesca?" This got the barbie's attention and gave me a terrifying glare with a mix of disgust.

All the guys gave hoots and the room was filled with laughter.

"Or maybe the thought of me and Francesca together?" This got them all riled up even more, there were pencils drumming in one beat. "Or maybe the three of us in your bed?"

This fuelled the flames that was already happening in our class and the face of Mr. Brown. Once again, I got the last laugh. I gave a victorious smirk and gained pats on the back from the guys in the room.

The look on his face was priceless.

"All of you, in detention!" He screamed in fury, I watched his nose flare in anger. The blue-green veins could pop anytime soon on that head of his. 

"Oh, great! Thanks a lot, Abby!" Francesca yelled in exasperation. No one seemed to mind this as they were still being animals.

"No one's going detention, calm down," I told Francesca before rolling my eyes. She can be such a drama queen sometimes, or actually most of the time. 

"KEEP QUIET!" Mr. Brown shouts but no one seems to listen to him. 

I needed a little distraction from the Hamiltons.
