Chapter 1 The awakining

This all takes place in the shinigami realm

Have you ever felt so tired that you couldn't gather up the strength to open your eyes? Yeah ... I know what it's like.It feels like someone has stitched my eyes shut! it's Weird how I am aware of the fact that I am alive Im thinking obviously... but its like even if I talk it'd be like talking into a black hole no ones on the other end, no one would hear me no matter how loud I was, I guess I'm completely and utterly alone.

Not long after..... i started hearing something I instantly knew it wasn't ordinary from the way it was approaching me or maybe it wasn't approaching me since I couldnt open my eyes and see.

I kept feeling a breeze on my body as "IT" came closer I was thoughtless for a second all that was there was darkness nothing more nothing less Then it hit me! "ANGELS" maybe the cold breeze is from their wings yess that's it I MUST BE IN HEAVEN

"RISE AND SHINE OLD PARTNER"
Said a voice, a voice that felt like I've known for a very long time I finally opened my eyes and there he was RYUK standing infront of me with a crooked smile .
Right then and there everything came back to me Kira, Ryuzaki, The Death note, Misa, A new world, Near..and My death ofcourse

RYUK: how was your slumber? He gives out a little laugh
Slumber what is he saying? What slumber?
LIGHT: h..how long has it been
RYUK: it's been 10 years
LIGHT: WHAT! I've been dead for 10 years?!!

Everything becomes a blur for a second light starts hearing bells... bells which instantly took him back to the moment where L told him he could hear bells
RYUK: well you were in the MU for a year then we decided to turn you into a shinigami
LIGHT: Huh..?
RYUK: you know the king of all shinigamis the one that rules the realm
Light is staring balnkly into Ryuks eyes without listening to a word he says
LIGHT: but... but how did I die?

RYUK: OHH... you're not gonna like thatttt
LIGHT: HOW DID I DIE?
RYUK: well lets just say I might have accidentally written your name in my death note when you tried to run away

Ryuks eyes turned completely red, he tilts his head down and gives light a look a typical ryuk look

LIGHT: YOU! You killed me!!!?
RYUK: Hahahaha me? YOU should have never played God .... that's what got you killed

Light looks to his side and notices a spike he grabs the spike and aims it at Ryuks heart

Ryuk gives out a small grunt then shoots him back with a smile
RYUK: OHH light don't you remember what I told oh the first day we met 16 years ago?
Even if you put a bullet in our heads SHINIGAMIS cannot die!

He grabs the spike from his chest and pulls it out,then bursts into laughter
RYUK: you have the power to you know?
LIGHT: what power!!!
RYUK: Hahahahahah Hahahahah welcome to the shinigami world Partner
get comfortable,since this is your new home

Light was too carried away to realize he was a shinigami the first time Ryuk told him but looks like the second time Was a charm

light starts thinking to himself
A.... a SHINIGAMI?! He just said ... he... I ... no it can't be!

Light starts to shiver he slowly raises his hands only to see that they were no ordinary hands they were what seems to be the hands of a shinigami, he immediately froze

RYUK: what's the matter partner? Not pleased with what you see?
LIGHT: how is this possible you never told me humans could turn into shinigamis
RYUK: wellll.. you never asked if they could, you had your head in the game, thought you knew everything but I guess that's something else you got wrong that and the fact you got outsmarted by L's successors

LIGHT: I did not lose miko gave my plan away if it wasn't for that BASTARD! I'd be a living breathing God!
RYUK: and how exactly did he do that?
LIGHT: he never should have played the  smart guy THATS WHAT GOT ME KILLED!
RYUK: hahah! You just can't admit it can you?you got outsmarted by a CHILD

Lights eyes widens he takes a look around and realizes that he really is in the shinigami realm
He really has become a shinigami BUT HOW?
