Kiara was lying still, unmoving. She had tubes and wires covering her body, so she was barely visible. The doctor smiled sadly as he said to her: "Kiara, I wish you would just wake up. The police need you. Only you know who set your house on fire." He sighed, "There's nothing wrong with you, so why won't you wake up?"
He shook his head as left the room, gently closing the door behind him.
Kiara shivered slightly. She did want to wake up, but something was stopping her. Every time she attempted to fight it, it would push her down, forcing her to stay asleep, so she couldn't spill any secrets.
