I woke up to the screaming sound of my alarm clock, who beeped in constant cycles.
Buzz.
Buzz.
Buzz.
I hit the snooze button with the palm of my hand and let out a deep breath as I fell asleep again; into the painful dream.
I was in 1st period as a man walked to me and told me that I would never be pretty. I started to sob as the teacher came by and asked me why I was crying. I couldn't tell her why. Instead, I put my head on my desk and never talked to anyone again.
I woke up to the sound of my mother calling me down. It was already 7 in the morning and I was going to be in big trouble. I quickly threw on a shirt and pants and hurried downstairs as my mother glared at me and asked me why I thought I could sleep this late.
"I am so sorry..." I began as my mother said nothing; all she did was glare. I did get ready, and she drove me to school.
"Mom..."
"No. Ally, just stop. You can't injure someone and then disappoint me again. Goodbye." She said as she dropped me off at the car rider line and drove away before I could say bye.
I went to my locker as a girl came to me.
"Go away." I mumbled as I pulled my locker open.
"I'm not going to be mean to you. I know people are bullying you."
I now was looking straight at her, listening.
"I... I was thinking... do you want to be friends? I really hate those bullies."
I thought for a moment and then I smiled knowing this would be a good day.
