"Harold now, now. Don't be to haste, I'm sure she wouldn't want a strange man interrupting her whilst she's got her head into a book". My idiotic friend Chris exclaimed. I gave a frown showing distaste towards his input on the situation.

"She's just so beautiful and so intriguing I simply cannot help myself. Chris I've watched her come and go everyday for the past month, I have to speak to her if I don't today I never will" I explained to him hoping he'd understand my urgency to talk to the beautiful sight in front of me. She brought her coffee to her lips, I slowly realised how silly I had become- I was jealous of a cup touching her lips.

"Harry, you've been hung up over this girl for weeks what makes her so special...I mean you've never even had a conversation for all you know she could be the opposite of what you think. I mean you're covered in tats, have piercings you hardly seem her type." I huffed in annoyance at his answer slouching back in the seat and taking a sip of my coffee I decided to explain to my foolish friend as to why I was so infatuated with this girl.

"I just know it Chris, I know she's everything I've wanted. She's beautiful, I mean beauty radiates off her" I shrugged as I stared back at the girl who had her nose in a book. That's when it happened, she looked up at me clearly feeling my eyes burning holes into her. I felt like the air had been knocked out of me, her beautiful hazel eyes staring into mine. She then brought her attention back to her book, for that moment I felt like everything around me had come to a halt and that we were the only two in the room.

"Harold...Harry!, snap out of it man." I darted my attention back to Chris mentally cussing him out for tearing me away from my thoughts.

"Sorry, I just lost track of thought" I let out a half hearted laugh. His stare alone let me know he was not impressed with my lie as he knew I was thinking about her. The bell to the coffee shop sounded and I tore my gaze from Chris and looked at the door to see her walking past the window, another day that she has come and gone.

"Come on harry, it's getting late and the shop is going to close soon. We should head back to campus" I nodded my head in agreement as now she had left there was no reason for me to stay.
