Mitch's POV
I woke up to an empty bed. I got up and pulled on one of Scott's t-shirts and a pair of shorts. I made my way downstairs where I heard chatter coming from the kitchen.
I walked through the door way to see my family and fiancé. Scott was cooking while mom, Dad, and Jessa sat at the breakfast bar. I walked up behind Scott and wrapped my arms around his waist. "I was planning on taking Jessa and my parents out around town today, do you want to go with?" I mumbled into his back. "Of course I do, grab the credit card and we'll go after breakfast. I just need to stop by the office before we do anything, is that okay?" I made my way to the counter and poured a cup of orange juice for Scott and myself. "That's fine, I need to stop in and talk to Alex anyway." I took a seat next to Jessa. "I need to grab the paperwork for Austin, also." I said while quietly drumming my fingers on the counter. "The only way you would have to grab paperwork for Austin is if he... that means he. HE ACCEPTED!" He ran over and picked me up, kissing me. "You're shitting me right?" I shook my head with a smile. "No Scott, he accepted. He told me that he would step up and take the position!" Scott put me down and I sat back down. "Who's Austin and what position is her taking?" I looked up from my juice and met Jessa's eyes. "Well Austin is a friend of ours and we added a branch to Latcore. We asked him if he would except the spot and he said yes. That means we have eighteen new job openings in the office. That means we also have to hurry to fill them." She looked down at her coffee. "I could fill one, the job I'm at now isn't paying nearly enough and I have no wiggle room." I looked at Scott. He nodded. "How much do you get paid an hour now." He was seriously considering! "I get paid eight an hour." His head shot up. "You'll start off making fifteen an hour here. You start Monday, I'll call your boss." He got back to what he was doing. I looked at Jessa and smiled. She was wide-eyes and her mouth was hanging open. "Close your mouth, you're letting the flies out!" I said jokingly. Scott gave me a weird look. "What?" He shook his head. "You said she was going to let the flies out instead of catch flies." I chuckled. "I picked that up from one of my teachers in high school!" He rolled his eyes and started serving breakfast. He handed me a glass of milk like he does every morning. He knows I like milk with my breakfast. He came and sat down beside me and rested his hand on my knee. I placed hand on his and rested my head on his shoulder. "I love you blondie." He looked down at me. "I love you, too baby." I took a bite of French toast. And nuzzled closer to him. By the end of breakfast I was sitting on his lap.
I made my way upstairs to get changed. I couldn't find the shirt I wanted to wear so I went to grab one of Scott's sweaters when I noticed a letter at the bottom of the drawer. It was addressed to Scott. I opened it up and read it.
Dear Mr. Scott Hoying,
I assume that everything with the submissive is going as planned. He is expected at the warehouse at five sharp on Tuesday September 28th, 2019. No later. You may bring him earlier if you get tired of him. We're proud of you Mr. Hoying for finding someone so perfect for this role. We'll see you the 28th, until then.
Sincerely,
Adam Mason
I felt a hot tear slip down my cheek. "Mitch, what are you reading?" I turned around and met Scott's eyes. I held out the paper for him to see. "What warehouse Scott? What role am I perfect for? Don't you love me?"
