Kat

It was a chilly fall day. The wind was blowing and the weather man called for rain. Kat was walking home, thankful it was Friday. School had been stressful enough for Kat that day. Kat walked into the house she shared with her best friend Ari. Of course, Ari wasn't home yet. She had track and then work. Kat set her stuff down on the table and greeted the kitten at her feet. Ari had bought Kat the kitten for her birthday. The kitten had black fur and blue eyes. He was a little fuzz ball. Kat had decided to name him Wade. Wade purred comfortingly as Kat stroked his fur. A light piter patter began to echo through out the house. It was raining. Kat hoped that the coaches would cancel track practice, and Ari could come home for a little bit. Kat hated being alone, but she knew the coaches wouldn't cancel track practic because of some rain, fo rtonight they had ot show all the parents what they'rea teaching their kids. Kat looked in the fridge for something to eat. Kat saw a box with her name on it. Kat took the box out of the fridge, closed the door, then read the note. It said...

"Kat. I thought you might get hungry while I was gone. I wasn't sure how ling I'd be gone, so I made chu this. All you have to do is heat it up and eat it. I'll be home when ever I get home.
P.S. For desert something chocolatey, cheesey, and made of Dr.Pepper awaits you in the freezer.
                                         Ari"

"Something chocolatey, cheesy, and made of Dr.Pepper? What's she talking about?" Kat thought to herself, as she opened the freezer. Kat saw a chocolate cheese cake made with Dr.Pepper. "Hallelujia!!"

Kat opened the box and saw a plate of steak, mashed potatoes, and corn. Kat smiled in delight. Ari had brought home her favorite meal from the diner. Kat quickly heated up the meal and grabbed a fork. Kat sat down but but gor up again, as her phone rang.

"Hello?" Kat answered
"Hey! Kittie Kat." It was Alexis Cook from school. She was mean to Kat for no reason
"What do you want Alexis?" Kat asked coldly. Anger started to boil inside her.
"Oh, nothing much. I just want you to look out your window."
"Why should I look out my window?" Kat asked
"It's a surprise." Alexis said silkily
"Whatever. What am I supposed to be..." Kat stopped talking when she looked out the window. She saw Alexis holding a lighter, gasoline, and a button.
"Open your door, kittie. Or I light you on fire." Kat backed away from the window and ran to the front door. Kat wasn't sure weather or not to open it. "Open the door Kittie, or you and nut job get blown up." Kat opened the door and saw a package with her name on it. "I'm only going to say this once, Kittie. Take the package, close the door, open the package and wait."

Kat unwillingly grabbed the package and closed the door. She put the package on the table and opened it. Inside the package there was a bomb and a note. Kat backed away from the package.

"Read the note Kittie." Alexis said laughing. "Read it out loud."
"Dear Kittie,
I know you and Ariel are insane. When you went into the hospital for being called crazy, I thought they should have kept you there. FOREVER. But they didn't. Instead they let you go. You and Ariel shouldn't be here. You guys don't belong here. Do you know what Ariel did while you were gone. She went even more crazy than she already was. We don't need crazy people like you. So I decided that I'd have to get rid of you guys myself. I'm going to make it look like an accident. Good bye crazies."

Alexis started laughing and the bomb started ticking. Wade trotted up to Kat and purred. Kat grabbed the kitten and ran outside. The rain had grown heavier. Alexis watched Kat and just smiled. Kat put Wade down and ran towards Alexis. Alexis just laughed and laughed.

"You think you can hurt me Kittie? Well you're wrong. As you can see," Alexis gestured to the lighter and the gasoline. "I've got the weapons and you don't."

Kat felt something snap inside her. She felt her sanity leave her and her insanity fill her. Kat smiled and tackled Alexis. Alexis struggled against Kat, but she couldn't get her off. Kat grabbed the gasoline from Alexis's hand and dumped it over her body.

"Hey Lexy! Can a body still burn in the rain? I think we should find out." Kat lit the lighter and lit the gasoline.

Kat jumped off Alexis as she lit on fire. Alexis screamed as she burned alive. Kat laughed at her and watched. After 20 minutes, Alexis stopped screaming and dropped to the ground, dead? Kat smiled at Alexis, but Kat's smile slowly began to fade away, as the pain in her muscles gave way. Kat grabbed the bomb timer and saw that it had already gone off. But when Kat looked at the house, there was only smoke coming out of the kitchen windows. Kat walked back over to the house, dragging Alexis's body with her. Wade meowed at Kat and purred at her feet. Kat smiled and opened the door so the kitten could go inside. Kat walked inside and threw the body on the ground. Kat tried to smile again, but her mouth muscles were too tired. Kat growled in frustration and walked into Ari's room. Ari always kept a needle and thread handy because of all the rips in their clothes they get. Kat grabbed the needle and thread, and began to sew a smile into her face. When Kat was done, blood was dripping from her cheeks, but she had the smile she wanted. Kat walked over the Alexis's body and something caught her eye. Alexis still had a pulse. Kat grabbed one of the kitchen knives and walked back over to Alexis.

"Hey, Lexy. I know you're still alive. Why don't we play a little game. It's called Mystery Spoon. If you guess the ingredients correctly I won't stab you, but if you answer them wrong, I get to stab you." Kat lied. Either way she was going to stab Alexis. "Let's play."

Kat walked into the kitchen and grabbed a spoon. She put three gross ingredients on it. Maggots, blood, and burnt skin. Kat shoved the spoon into Alexis's mouth and watched as she choked it out. Kat laughed and laughed, until she grew bored. Kat took her knife and plunged it into Alexis's stomach. She slowly pulled it up until it reached Alexis's neck.

"Please stop. Make it stop. Make it go away." Kat smiled at Alexis's pleads. "It's all a dream. I'm going to wake up and none of this is going to be real."
"You want to go to bed? I can do that." Kat smiled as a familiar song came into her mind. "Hush now, quiet now, it's time to lay your sleepy head. Hush now, quiet now, it's time to go to bed. And maybe you'll have a lovely little dream." Kat stabbed Alexis's heart as she finished singing.

Blood splattered everywhere as Alexis's heart still pumped blood. Kat had blood splattered across her, everywhere. She licked the blood off her knife and smiled. It tasted so good.

"It tastes sooooo good, but not as good as Dr. Pepper cheese cake." Kat thought to her self.

Kat got up and walked into the kitchen. Everything was fine, except for a few things that were on fire. Kat chuckled lightly and grabbed the cheesecake out of the freezer. Kat put the cheesecake on the table and went into her room. Her room was a little messy, but she knew where everything was. Kat grabbed a black bag and a few necessities. She put the cheesecake in the bag, along with some knives and a chainsaw from their shed. Kat couldn't wait until Ari got home.
