Nightfire
I felt so bad for being mean to Kat, but I had to make a point. Quikcly I ran back to the tree and saw everything. Anger raced through my veins as I remembered what I did to Kat. Swiftly, I grabbed my axe and started chopping at the bodies again. Tears well up in my eyes as I replayed everything.
"Agh!" I screamed and swung.
Accidently, I missed and hit my side. Pain spread through my body as blood started to trickle down. Anger consumed me and I threw my axe at the mutilated bodies. A scream of rage emitted from my lips as I kept hacking at the bodies. Soon after, blood covered my body and seeped into the ground.
"It's not enough! She's still here." I growled
Grabbing a hidden razor I rolled down my sleeve and cut my arm multiple times. Little beads of blood formed, but it wasn't enough. Harsher, I continued to cut my arm, until a single streak of blood steadily flowed. Yet, it still wasn't enough.
"Agh!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, "I fucking hate you! I fucking hate myself!" I sobbed
Looking through the mutilated bodies pockets, I found a lighter.
"The names Nightfire. Don't you forget why." I whispered and set the tree on fire, "I hope your fucking happy! Cause I can't stop smiling for you! I can't! I can't stop laughing!" Laughter emitted from my lips, forcefully at first but soon easily, "I can't stop bleeding for you!"
Quickly I grabbed my axe and started chopping at the ground. Anger flooded me. Nothing was right. The bodies slowly started to burn, but not too quickly.
"Hey! I think something's over there!" A mans voice shouted
"Haha. Not something, but someone." I dipped my hand in the blood and gently licked it off my fingers
Insanity filled me agian. The footsteps of newcomers seemed to echo through my ears. Two people emerged from the cluster of trees and walked over to me.
"Hey! Are you ok?" The man shouted, I did not respond
"Hey! Miss! Are you ok?" It was a girls voice
"Hehe. I'm fine. Can you tell. I'm still smiling." Slowly I stood up
"Who are you? Are you ok?" The girl asked
"Hehe! Never been better. The names Nightfire, don't you forget why."
I lunged at them and knocked them both out. Let's just say, they felt a lot of pain and they were put to sleep at last.
Masky/Adie
I walked down the hallway guided by the moon light. When I passed by Bloodlust's and Nightfires room I thought I heard someone crying and then talking. Cautiously, I knocked and opened the door. Bloodlust sat on the bed, the tool belt I gave her around her waist, her boots muddy and slightly covered in blood. The light streaks of tears shimmered on her cheeks.
"Bloodlust? Are you ok?" I asked and sat down next to her
"Y-Yes." She lightly smiled and looked at me
"What's wrong?" I asked and wiped away tears
"It's Nightfire." She whispered as fresh tears started to roll
"What happened? What did she do?" I asked wrapping her in a tight hug and holding her close
"She... I-I had been dreaming about our trick-or-treat and then some images of blood woke me up. When I reached for Nightfire, she wasn't there." Bloodlust told me everything.
Anger rose in me when I heard how Nightfire treated her. Abruptly, I stood up and started to walk away.
"Wait! Where're you going?" Bloodlust asked
"I'm going to find Nightfire and talk some sense into her." I growled and put one foot out the door
"No! Don't!" Bloodlust squealed and pulled me back into the room
The force in which she pulled me knocked both of us over. I landed on top of her as a light blush spread across her face. A smile spread across my face, but was kept hidden by the mask.
"S-sorry." Bloodlust whispered
"Aw. Don't be sorry. I'm actually getting an idea."
I partially lifted the mask, so that it just showed my lips. Quickly, before she knew what was happening, I kissed Bloodlust on the lips.
