Off To An Amazing Start

* * * * *Adrien's P.O.V.* * * * *

              I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face. Yesterday may have started out as the worst day ever, but it turned out to be the best day of my life. I could still feel Marinette's soft, warm lips on mine. I longed for that miraculous feeling to return once more. Luckily, school is soon to come, and I would soon get another chance to see my princess once more. I quickly got up and got ready for school, and I remembered something... Chat Noir is with her, not Adrien Agreste. I'm just the guy who harshly declined Marinette's feelings. My heart hurts realizing that I hurt my princess like that. I'm definitely going to make it up to her tonight as Chat Noir, and I know exactly how to do it.

   The limo reached the front of the school, and I found my princess talking with a very pissed off Alya, trying to calm her down. I walked to Marinette standing behind Alya's view, and she looked at me with wide eyes. She gave me signs to leave or go somewhere, and I was confused. Then, when I least expected, Alya turned around...and I found myself looking into the eyes of death. I immediately ran for my life around the inside of the school and finally hid behind Marinette.

   "Alya!!!" Marinette shouted. She extended her arms, shielding me from Alya's fiery wrath.

"LET ME AT 'EM MARI! NO BOY IS GOING TO BREAK MY DAUGHTER'S HEART AND GET AWAY WITH IT!!!" Alya screamed with fire filled eyes.

"Alya wait!" Marinette shouted, still shielding me from the face of death. Alya then miraculously calmed down and looked at her with a sad look on her face.

"But Mari, he hurt you didn't he? Don't you want him to apologize?"

"There's no need. I'm the one who should be apologizing. I did kind of ruin his reputation just a bit. His matters more than mine does since he's representing his father's company. It's the least I could do." she turned around and looked at me with her big beautiful Bluebell eyes. oh, how I love those Blue Bell eyes.

" Adrien, I'm so sorry... I shouldn't have run off on you like that. And there's no need for you to apologize to me either. You see if you wouldn't have rejected me... I wouldn't have realized that I have even more feelings for the special someone I'm spending the rest of my winter with! So, thank you! Thank you so much, Adrien!" She held out her hand signaling me to shake it. "Best Friends?"

 "Best friends." I brought her into a tight hug and noticed that Alya was now smiling.

"It's a good thing you told me to butt out when you did! This is way better than me strangling Adrien to death and going to jail or something! Haha!"

"You're glad? I'm Ecstatic! I'm not ready to die!" I said. Marinette snorted laughing.

"Haha, let's get to class." Marinette calmed down. I bow and allow Marinette and Alya to go first. Nice going Agreste. Way to 'hide you're alter ego'.

"Ummm...Thank....you?" Alya raised an eyebrow. They walked through and I followed them. Once we got there, Marinette had an unwanted visitor push her to the ground.

"Move it Mari-trash! Adri-honey! Gimme a kiss!" I widened my eyes and pushed her away. I helped Marinette up off the floor and lead her to her seat. I looked at Chloe who had a look of disbelief on her face, and shook my head at her and looked away. That's what she gets for touching my princess. 

   After school, Nathalie took me to my photo shoots that father had scheduled for today, and we did a few public events as well. Once I was all finished with everything, it was about 20:15, (8: 00) And I was so excited to get to see my princess again. Once we got home I ran to my room, locked my door, and transformed. I saw her sitting on her balcony from afar and decided to surprise her. I had gotten her a gift so that people would know that she's mine and no one else's. I also had...well... another way to claim her as mine...but, that can wait. I quietly landed behind her while she was looking out into the city, and quickly wrap my arms around her, Burying my face in her neck. She was breathing hard considering I just scared her half to death. I was laughing in the crook of her neck when she took the newspaper that was on the table beside her and hit me in the head with it like my grandmother would do when I was little when I wouldn't listen to what she was telling me to do.

"Chat, you scared me half to death! What would you have done if I would have had a heart attack and died, huh? You'd be One Lonely Cat don't you think?" She let it be inside to her bed, lowered the covers, and lied down. she patted the space beside her signaling me to come lay down next to her. I did as told, and reached into my pocket to grab her gift that I had bought for her.

"Close your eyes princess, I have something for you." she closed her eyes And I clasped the gift behind her neck and looked at it on her beautiful pale skin. "you may open your eyes now princess." She looked down at the newest piece of jewelry hanging from her neck and yelled with joy.

"Kitty you shouldn't have! I didn't get you anything!" She looked sad knowing that she couldn't return the favor, and I lifted her chin to look into her big beautiful Blue Bell eyes.

"There's no need princess, I know exactly how you can repay me... and it's as easy as un, deux, trois." (One Two, three)

"Oh? And what way is that kitty?" She flirtatiously played with my hair while I was laying in her lap, and I puckered my lips and tapped on them signaling that I had a taste for something sweet. She planted her lips on mine, and I was finally able to feel the sweet cherry flavored sensation of her lips on mine once again. This feeling was one of the best feelings I had ever felt. The feeling of love. And not the kind that Chloe pretends to have found in the real me, but the real kind of love. The one that Marinette and I have is definitely real. I'd give up anything in the world for her. That's what her necklace represents. It's a black paw outlined in a green line, with a heart in the middle. But what she didn't know was that I had another surprise for her as well.

"You know princess, that necklace is a part of a set." I wiggled my eyebrows, and she raised one of her's. "Would you like to see my half?" she nodded her head, and I reached into my pocket to pull out a bracelet. It was a simple bracelet with a cherry blossom on it and a heart in the middle. I think we all know what it represents. She took one look at it and tears formed in her eyes. "What's wrong princess? Do you not like it? Because I can always return it an-" She Immediately wrapped her arms around me and closed the space between our lips. This Kiss was deep. Deeper than our last ones. I could tell that she really put her heart into it. She released, keeping her eyes closed and leaning her forehead against mine. I was now on all fours on top of her.

"Mon Seul Et Unique Chaton." (My one and only chat) When she said that, I knew from that moment on that we would always be together. Nothing in this world could ever break us apart. I love her too much to Let Her Go.
