* * * * *Third Person P.O.V.* * * *
Adrien woke up the next day with Mari fast sleep in his arms. She was so adorable when she slept. He loved listening to the quiet moans of his princess' breathing. She sounded peaceful.
"You do realise you're watching your girlfriend sleep as Adrien, don't you?" He widened his eyes a bit, then calmed down remembering that his princess was fast asleep.
"Relax Plagg, she's asleep. I'm alright for now." He looked back down at the peacefully sleeping girl in his arms and smiled. He then lightly placed a kiss on her head and smiled wider as she cuddled against his chest afterwards.
"Adriennn...." Plagg slightly sang, smiling a bit in the process. Ok, now he was starting to scare Adrien.
"What is it Plagg..." Adrien said, suspiciously squinting his eyes at the creepily smiling creature.
"You do realise today's Wednesday, don't you?" he sat at the edge of the coffee table in front of the couch Marinette and Adrien were sitting on, and swung his small legs back and forth.
"And...Your point...?" He raised an eyebrow, still squinting his eyes suspiciously.
"You might want to check your notifications......!" Adrien pulled out his phone and checked his notifications.
"A voicemail from the College...?" He slightly tilted his head confused. "....Wait..... SCHOOL!" He checked the time on his phone and his eyes nearly popped out of his head. School started at 8:15 on Wednesdays.....it was 8:45. "CRAP! WE GOTTA GO! PLAGG CLAWS OUT!" The small creature was sucked into Adrien's ring, and he transformed. he looked at Mari who was still sleeping peacefully in his arms. He wished they could stay that way forever, but sadly, all good things must come to an end.
"Princess, it's time to get up. We have to go to school!" he lightly shook Mari's shoulder trying to wake her up.
"....Five more....minutes.... Daddy....zZzZzZzZ" Adrien's face turned bright red reacting to what Mari had called him.
'No! Stop it, Adrien! Now's not the time for dirty thoughts!' He thought to himself. "Mari, it's not your dad! It's me! We have to go to school!" Mari lifted her head up with her eyes barely open.
"Mmmm....Good morning Kitty...." She smiled and yawned, stretching her arm out in the process. "What time is it?"
"Time to go! It's 8:50!" Marinette's eyes practically sprung out of her head.
"HOLY CRAP!" She jumped over the couch, and raced all over the apartment, she fell a few times but sprung right back up again. She was moving so fast she practically flew. "HOLYCRAPHOLYCRAPHOLYCRAPHOLYCRAPHOLYCRAPHOLYCRAP!!!" She grabbed her bag and raced out the door with two hair ties on her wrist. Mean while, Chat grabbed his bag that he had hid in Mari's room, in case he didn't get the chance to get home before school, raced out the window, landed in front of the stairs, and detreansformed. He took a second to let Plagg fly into his shirt pocket, and then raced up the stairs, and to the classroom, only to meet Mari there at the exact same time with her hanging loosely on top her shoulders. They took a moment to catch a breath and looked at each other.
"We can ask each other about this later, for now, we just gotta get into the classroom without the teacher noticing. Got it?" Mari nodded her head and quickly put her hair up into a messy bun, instead of the usual pigtails. It looked really good on her, not to mention it was one of the easiest and quickest styles to do on herself ever.
Adrien quietly put a finger against his closed lips to signal Marinette that it was time to be quiet. He then slowly opened the door, and they snuck in. Adrien successfully got to his seat quietly without being caught. On the other hand, right as Mari was about to reach her spot, Chloe stuck her leg out her desk causing Mari to trip and fall on Adrien before he was able to sit down. They both fell to the floor with a loud thud, and their lips somehow managed to magically press against each other's. The two were too shocked to pull away, so they only lied there frozen how they had landed. Mari was on all fours on top of Adrien with her lips on top of his. Adrien couldn't muster enough strength at the moment to pull away and they both were on the floor frozen, with their eyes wide open staring at each other. This was nothing new to Adrien since he had kissed Marinette before, though Marinette was bright red because she had never kissed 'Adrien' before. They lasted about 20 seconds before their awkward kiss was suddenly interrupted by the instructor.
"Marinette Dupian' Cheng, and Adrien Agreste! Both of you to the principal's office now! You not only got to school nearly an hour late, but you are also showing Public Display of Affection which is completely against the school's policy!" Both of them grabbed their stuff and walked with each other to the principal's office and both stopped in front of the door and laughed.
"Heheh.......um...Adrien?"
"Yeah, Mari?"
"Hmmm...Mari....usually it's Chat calling me that.... A-ANYWAYS, Adrien, i-i'm sorry. I-if it wasn't for me, we wouldn't be in trouble."
"No Mari, you did nothing wrong. Chloe was the reason behind this. Not you."
"But, I still-"
"But nothing. You're my best friend." 'and girlfriend' he thought to himself. "It's my job to always forgive you." Marinette smiled. Then, they went into the principal's office to receive their punishment.
"Adrien, Marinette, you two are in a lot of trouble you know....."
