"Daddy." Milly spoke climbing into the chair.
"What?" He asked preparing breakfast.
"I think I had a bad dream last night." She moved her hair.
"I told you the boogie man ain't real." He sucked his teeth.
"It was about Bella she was screaming loud but I couldn't see what was happening. Is she gonna die?" Milly asked.
Taj smirked immediately Remembering last night.
"No she ain't gone die." He chuckled rinsing out the pot.
"It's not funny daddy!" Milly crossed her arms thinking that he wasn't taking her serious.
"And you didn't sleep with me last night." She pouted catching an attitude.
"Don't start that shit Milly." He warned cracking the egg against the edge of the counter, and she rolled her eyes mumbling words in Spanish.
"Daddy?" Milly stared at him.
"Wassup?" He asked trying to find a clean fork.
"Your phone is ringing." She pointed and he walked over to it seeing a private number.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Detective McFadden." He heard on the other side.
"I think you got the wrong number.." Taj says about to hang up but the detective spoke again.
"I'm sure your Taj Wilson.." He said and Taj rolled his eyes immediately thinking Cedric was behind this.
"I would like you to come in for questioning."
"For what ?" Taj wrinkled his face.
"The murder of Bernard Holmes.." He spoke and Taj stopped all movement.
"Stop, stop playing." His heart pumped fast.
"He was found dead in his home with eight bullet wounds. On the scene written in blood were the words 'Milly' do you know who that is?" He asked.
"T-thats my daughter." Taj glanced at Milly who drew in the coloring book.
Taj quickly hung up the phone.
"Shit." He put his head down and started crying. Bernard was his best friend and he knew Suge had done all of this.
"Daddy what's wrong?" Milly got out from her chair.
"Nothing, nothing." He pushed her away not wanting her to see him like that.
Milly frowned and walked back over to her chair as Taj picked himself up.
He went back over and started finishing up breakfast.
He prepared garlic omlettes, turkey bacon and freshly cut strawberries along with blue raspberries.
