The Stepbrothers

Chapter 5

I went down to the 9th floor to see a name on the door ' Jace's Room'. I didn't realise he was below me.

On floor 8 was Nathan and 7 was Lucas. On floor 6 was Ethan and floor 5 was Noah and Theo, the twins. I could tell by the names on their doors. On floor 4 was Jack and my mum.

Floor 3 was the main dining hall and main kitchen, even though everyone had one on their floor.

Floor 2 was the bar and main game and cinema room.

Floor 1 was the main living room.

The garden went on for acres and didn't looked like it stoped.

The basement was where all the teenage party's where held you could tell with the bar and bedrooms down there because people wasn't allowed on our floors.

I took another look in the garden to go look at the stables. I saw the most beautiful horses I had ever seen. There were 7 so I guessed one for each person.

I turned around to see Ethan standing there. He gave me the biggest scare ever that made me jump 10ft in the air.

"Sorry if I made you jump, you looked like you were lonely so I thought I would just you."

"Oh.. umm yeah, these horses are beautiful." I replied to his shy tone.

"Yeah they are, each of us are allowed 3 pets each, we all decided to get horses and have the stable hand look after them while we are away and are busy. Noah and Theo have 2 lizards, Lucas has he's hamsters, Nathan has a rabbit, Jace has a cat and I have two parrots. Now you live here you can have three to but only if you want them."

I am allowed pets this is gonna be good.

"I will think about it. I have a question."

"Shoot."

"Are all the floors have the same layout?" I said curiously.

"Not really, we can have the changed whenever we want to."

"Oh, shit! What time is it?"

"4:30. Why? " he said with a confused look.

"I will see you later"

And with that said I ran. I hoped Jace would be home and I was lucky enough to be right.

"Lucas where is Jace?" I said out of breath.

"Upstairs in his room-"

I cut him off and ran up the stairs to his room and knocked on the door.

"Come in" he said not knowing who it was.

I opened the door to see a shirtless male. He must have thought it was one of the boys. Jace turned around and caught me staring at his abs and I looked down and my cheeks blushed.

"Hey." He said not making eye contact with me.

"Hey I wanted to thank you for what you did yesterday it really means a-"

He cut me off mid sentence.

"Don't you dare say thank you. That vile piece of crap got what he deserved and helping you was just something any decent person would have done." He said beginning to give me a smile.

I ran over to him and hugged him round his waist. He hugged me back. This hug wasn't like the one we shared when I first arrived, this one was more passionate and caring. It was like he really wanted me in his arms and I wanted him in mine.

We stood there for what seemed like forever. I rested my head on his shoulder and his allowed me to do so.

He looked down at me and leaned in to kiss me. I didn't move, but instead of him kissing me on the lips, he kiss me on the forehead. It was meaningful. You could see it in his eyes.

We were interrupted but the sound of the door opening and Theo walking in. He came up to me and hugged me. He stared at my eye and noticed a tears pouring down my face and I bent down to see him. He got a tissue out of his pocket and wiped my tears. I started smiling.

"I like your smile you should do it more often." Theo said with a smile of his own.

"She should shouldn't she." Jace said adding to Theo.

I gave them both another hug and went to my room.

I had another snack and fell asleep on the bed knowing that what happened wasn't my fault and that my knight in shining armour was just below me.

Sorry this chapter has been shorter but I tried uploading as much as possible and that means if you want 3 chapters in one day than this Is what you are going to get.
