Chapter 9: Secrets and new love

Harry P.O.V

“And you are my boyfriend!” I smiled widely at her, as she blushed. “But no one can know. Remember that. Not even Louis!!” What I can’t even tell my best friend that I had a girlfriend? That sucks!“Yes it does Haz, but I just got a record deal, so everyone would think that I use you to get more famous, and I’m not!” “Did I just say that out loud?” “Yeah Haz”She sighed. I leaned in and kissed her. We were just standing there smiling like idiots. “Wanna watch a movie?” I asked, smirking. “Sure!” We went down to my room, and sat on my bed. I reached out and found the remote. “So what are we watching?” “LOVE ACTUALLY!” “Yeah it’s my favorite movie you know?” “No way!!! Mine too!” I laughed. I started the movie, but we barely saw any of it. We were just laying there, looking at each other, and I never felt happier.

We lay like this for about 2 hours before we heard the front door open. She quickly got up, and ran to her room (She moved in here around the same time as Ally). The movie was still playing, so I decided to keep watching it. I heard footsteps outside my door, and then a loud scream came from the room next door. Laura. I got up, and ran to her. She was standing on her bed, with a scared look on her face. “What’s wrong?” “S-s-s-sp…” “What?” “SPIDER!!!” “What? Where?” “There…” I looked to the place on the wall where she was pointing, and saw the gross creature. I found a shoe, and quickly got it killed. Laura was still standing on her bed, with tears running down her cheeks. “Hey it’s okay. It’s gone now.” I got to her bed, just in time to catch her as she collapsed in my arms, sobbing. “Laura, are you okay?” She didn’t reply me, and I was getting really worried. I got my phone in pocket, and texted Ally:

To Als:

Hi are you home yet?

From Als:

Yeah Lou and I are in the living room. Why?

To Als:

Come to Laura’s room quick

I heard them running. It only took two seconds before Ally ran through the door. “WHAT HAPPENED!?!” “She saw a spider, and broke down.” “Oh God.” “Als what is wrong?” “She is deadly scared of spiders, and when she sees one she breaks down.” “Oh. I didn’t know. What do we do now then?” “I don’t know… Laura, sweety are you okay?” Laura still didn’t reply any of us. I was starting to panic. “HARRY GET OUT NOW!” Ally saw the look on my face and I got up and left the room. Just in time, because when I got to my room, the tears were falling down my face. “Haz?” “Hmm” “What’s wrong?” “I-i-i…”I couldn’t tell him. Laura told me not to. But then Ally came to the room. “How is she?” I asked nervously. “Fine, she is sleeping. By the way she told me that you could tell Lou.” “Tell me what?” He was sitting on my bed, with his arms on my shoulders. “I’m just gonna go, see if Zayn wants to do anything… bye!” She left. “Tell me what?” Lou asked again. “Tell you why I’m acting like a 14-year old girl…” “Hmm but you’re not?” “Yes I am, and it’s only because I’m the worst boyfriend in the world.” “Boyfriend? Does that mean that you’re dating someone?” “Yeah.” “OMG WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME!?!” “Because she said I couldn’t and because it happened like 3 hours ago?” “So who is she? Wait a minute you didn’t go out tonight..? So how could you be single when we left and in a relationship when we got home?” “Because she was here with me…” “Someone came to the house? What did Laura say to that?” “It’s Laura, you carrot!” “No way!!!! OMG HAZ I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!” “But you can’t tell anyone!” “Why?” “Because she doesn’t wants it to be like the last time she had a boyfriend.” “Who was that? And why?” “It was you… She was known as ‘Louis ex’ for 2 years, and not even her family could remember her name at the end…” “Oh. I didn’t know…” “I know you didn’t, because I didn’t tell you.” I looked up, and saw Laura at the door. She smiled widely at me, and then went to sit in my lap. She looked so beautiful in her black skinny jeans and her light green hoodie. “Hi, feeling better now, love?” “Yeah much better.” “Are you really that afraid of spiders?” “Yeah… Just like Liam and spoons.” “Oh.” “And Haz? You are the worst boyfriend in the world.” “You heard it?” “Yeah.” “Oh.” “You guys looks so cute together!!!” I had totally forgotten that Louis was still in the room. “Thanks Lou.” She said smiling at him before dragging me out of the room and into hers. “Mind staying here for the night?” “Not at all” “Thanks Haz. I really don’t wanna be alone after the S thing was in here earlier.” I smiled and gave her a hug. “It’s dead now, so it can’t hurt you. And if some of its friends comes I’ll kill it okay?” “Okay”
