Lucy walked down the hall with Quinn. Both with their blonde ponytails swishing behind them.
"I still can't believe you made captain" Quinn said with a little venom in her voice.
Lucy was just in Coach Sylvester's where she was informed of being made Cheerios' captain as a sophomore. Quinn's jealousy was evident and Lucy couldn't help but sigh.
"I know I can't believe if either but, you are obviously my co- captain so it's really not that big of a deal" Lucy responded with a smile.
Quinn gave her sideways smile and just nodded slightly. They both walked up to a pack of football players. They were all messing around and pushing and shoving each other. Quinn pushed through the crowd rudely while Lucy followed while apologizing. Lucy accidentally stepped on the foot of the one and looked up to see, the none other, famous Mike Chang. He was very good at football and she always thought he was quite attractive but would never admit it to anyone.
"Sorry Mike" She smiled sheepishly. Mike stared down at her with a surprised face. Under his breathe she heard a very quiet, "She knows who I am" he then beamed back at her and said , "it's okay".
At that point Lucy was very confused for she made it her job to know everyone and of course she never really got to talk to Mike because of her over protective boyfriend but, she still had some classes with him. She decided to just let it go and move past Mike to get to her boyfriend, Lucas, who was watching the whole exchange like a hawk. Lucas flipped his blonde bangs and glared at Mike who pretended to not notice.
Mike was surprised, the most popular girl in school, and his secret crush, knew who he was. Sure she had a boyfriend and, Lucas was one of his best friends but, Lucy was amazing. Not only was she extremely hot but, he remembered she used to dance and was really good at it. Although, just like him, she gave it up probably because it wasn't cool and he wouldn't be surprised if she danced in her room at night just like him. Though now that he was in Glee club he could dance whenever he wanted. Mike almost sighed allowed and tuned his mind to the group. He watched as Lucas put his arm around her waist and kiss her on the lips and this only made his blood boil. Mike excused himself from the group and walked to his first class.
Lucy watched Mike walk away and was for some reason she was kinda disappointed. She lived Lucas but all he cared about was football and being popular and if she ever told him about wanting to dance again he would probably laugh. Lucas shook he out of he thoughts by calling her by her nickname.
"Hey LuLu" Lucas called. Ever since they started dating in the 8th grade he called her 'LuLu' and then other people started calling he that too.
"Yeah" she answered looking at her jock boyfriend.
" I heard you made captain of the Cheerios, good job sweetheart" he then grabbed her face smashed their lips together. Lu hated it when he did that, sure it was just him showing affection but, Lucy always felt that he only did it to show the other guys that she was his and only his. She then pulled back from their mini make out session and blushed. She then looked directly at Quinn which, thankfully, her best friend nodded.
"Yeah well we better get going, I'd rather not be late to homeroom" Quinn kissed her boyfriend, Finn, on the cheek quickly before grabbing LuLu's hand and scurrying off to their lockers.
"Thanks girl" Lu thanked her best friend. Quinn nodded and then her face turned grim.
"Look, I understand you love him and he's popular, so I mean why not be with him but, he doesn't treat you right, girl you deserve to be with a good guy so, if you decide to find a new boy toy then come see me, I'll hook you up with someone hot, popular and well hot" Quinn laughed and touched Lu's shoulder and smiled at her than gave her a quick "see ya" and walked into her homeroom.
Lucy loved Quinn, but she was another one who only cared about being popular. Lucy sighed and was at least thankful to have the same opinion about her finding a new man. She walked across the hall to her locker and opened it up. Not long after, she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to be face to face with the one and only, Rachel Berry.
Rachel was not a liked person and was often found annoying. She sang, dance and did about anything to be in the spotlight. Despite what everyone else thought, Lucy actually liked Rachel. Their friendship began in 9th grade when they became locker buddies. Rachel was the only one who knew about Lucy's love for singing and dancing and they often talked about it.
"Hey Rachel, what's up" Lucy asked the Jewish girl standing in front of her.
"Nothing much, I just have a favor to ask you" Rachel said a little nervously. Lucy looked at the girl skeptically and then nodded.
"Would you join Glee club?"

Okay so this is basically my first story and hope you really enjoy it. I'm kinda a bad writer but have a very active imagination.
Basically Mike has always admired Lucy and she always thought he was cute. Also Lucy is friends with everyone in Glee club pretty much already but friends with them before.
