After cleaning up Quinn's makeup, the duo walked to the lunchroom. Walking over to the jock table, Quinn took a seat next to Finn and Lucy next to Lucas. Lu noticed Mike staring at her from a couple seats down. Matt nudged Mike trying to get his attention. Miles face went red after he realized Lucy was staring right back at him and turned to face Matt.
'What a strange guy' Lucy thought and she turned to a glaring Lucas.
"Sorry what" Lucy said to her boyfriend in an innocent voice.
"I said where were you" Lucas said while pushing his blonde bangs aside. Quinn in front of her rolled her eyes at his possessiveness.
"Quinn and I were in the bathroom" Lucy had fight hard to leave all venom out of her voice. Her mama once told her that sass and anger would never get her anywhere in life. Lucas just nodded and turned back to messing around with his friends.
Finn was upset to see the way Lucas always treated Lucy. He always thought she deserved better than his jerky friend. He opened his mouth to say something but Quinn put her hand on his arm and shook her head. Finn shut his mouth and nodded back to her. He didn't know what he was thinking, he wasn't sure what he would even say.
Lucy decided it now or never and needed to talk to Lucas about joining Glee club. She wasn't sure why but, she felt like she needed his approval. They always did seek approval from each other like, when Lucas wasn't sure if he should tryout for basketball, Lucy was there to encourage him. Although, this year Lucas has started to become more a jerk and only cared about being popular.
"Hey, um, Lucas" Lucy was kinda nervous. Maybe she should just wait until after school.
"Mmhm, yeah babe" Lucas turned to her with a gleam in his eyes that she hadn't seen in awhile.
"Well, I was gonna ask your opinion about something" Lucy started, for some reason the whole table kinda got quiet which made her a lot more nervous.
"You see some of the Cheerios," she figured if he thought it was only the Cheerios wanting her then he might be open to the idea, "wanted me to join Glee club?" She wished she ended her statement with more confidence instead of a question.
Lucas stared at her for another second and then started to laugh. Everyone at the table was silent.
Mike sat there and stared at the laughing jock. How dare he laugh in her face, which looked quite heartbroken. Mike wanted to stand and punch the blonde boy until he couldn't stand, which sounded ridiculous considering he hardly even knew Lucy. He looked at the girls face again and she looked like she wanted to cry but then it suddenly changed, it wasn't heartbreak, it wasn't sadness, it was anger.
Lucy was angry.
Lucas continued to laugh until he looked at his girlfriend with a smile.
"If you joined the Glee Club I would just have to personally slushie you."
That comment did it.
The entire lunchroom was quiet. The rest of the Glee club sitting at a different table watched the entire conversation. There eyes grew wide as they watched Lucy look away to meet Quinn's eyes.
Quinn gave a little nod and Lucy looked at the chocolate milk that sat on her tray.
"Yeah, well I might not have a slushie but chocolate milk works just as good." Lucy then picked up her chocolate milk and dumped it over Lucas's blonde surfer hair.
Finn and Quinn sat their with smug looks.
The rest of the Glee club smiled with happiness.
The entire school sat their with shock on their faces.
And Mike Chang sat there with many feeling, admiration, happiness and smugness.
"What the hell, Lucy" Lucas exclaimed.
"You changed Lucas! I fell for the sweet, nice, dorky Lucas. Not this new jerky Lucas. I may have been afraid before but, I'm not now, we are done!" Lucy walked away for soaked Lucas who had chocolate milk dripping from his eye lashes.
Leaving the lunchroom she heard a round of applause for her little stunt and although she felt horrible she was kinda proud of herself.
Walking down the hall she knew exactly where she was going. Opening the doors she entered the dim lighted room. She switched the many lights to light the stage. And that's when the tears came, she felt like half her heart was gone. That's when the music the only rang in her head began. Looking at out to the many seats, she started to sing the first verse of a song she knew fit her situation perfectly.

So basically this is the mark to where the music and dancing will be played more into the story.
The songs I select will most likely be songs from now and not songs that where out when Glee was on.
