After Rachel asked her the join Glee club she just told her she would think about it. She went the rest of the day thinking about it like she said. Sure she used to sing and dance but that was before she had friends and a boyfriend. Yet she kinda wanted too, she really missed singing and dancing even more. She also had friends in the club like Artie, Rachel, Mercedes, Kurt, Tina, Finn and her coach even asked Santana, Brittany and Quinn to join to spy on Mr. Schu. She really didn't care what others thought but if she joined then her coach and boyfriend would probably be mad for two completely different reasons. She walked into first period, which was Honors Chemistry, and sat down next to Finn.
"Hey Finn" she said with her usual cheerful smile. Finn though just gave her a short smile and looked at the desk in front of them.
"What's wrong" she asked him.
"Well, um, ever since I joined Glee, everyone kinda hates me. I've been slushied almost three times now. We all kinda thought now since we have some more football players and some Cheerios it would help the group but we've all been pulled to the bottom."
Lucy stared at Finn in thought. Is he serious? Maybe she shouldn't join? But then again her friends are in the club.
"Everything looked fine this morning in the football group" she commented thinking back to the group.
"Yeah until you and Quinn left, everyone knows Quinn's only in it for your coach so, as soon as you girls left, Puck and I didn't hear the end of it. Maybe I should just let Mr. Schu put the drug thing on my record." Finn mumbled the last part.
Lucy ignored the drug part and said, "Don't you like singing?" Finn then nodded.
"So it doesn't matter what others think really, I mean you are going to do what you want but if you like to sing then stick to singing, who cares what others think, that includes my boyfriend"
Finn looked at her stunned, "how did you know it was him"
"Please" she said, "he throws people into dumpsters, I know what he's like"
Just then the teacher walked in and the conversation ended.
At Glee practice
"Hey guys" Rachel stood in the front of he room, " I know most of you guys are considering quitting but, I think I solved all your guys popularity problems" she mainly directed this to the four football players and three Cheerios.
"Oh yeah" Santana looked up from her nail file, she didn't really have a popularity problem but found Rachel's words amusing, "and what did you do, you can't even solve your own popularity problem." Quinn and Brittany snickered at this.
Rachel rolled her eyes then went back to discussing her big plan, " I asked Lucy Hart to join the Glee club."
The whole club looked up at this comment. Quinn and Finn were surprised Lucy didn't mention this to them. Matt was just excited that a hot girl was joining until Santana nudged him. Mike was overjoyed that he would get to spend more time around Lucy and, the rest of the club smiled at thinking that their popular friend might actually be joining.
"Are you crazy!?" Quinn screeched, "Are you seriously trying to drag my best friend to the bottom like the rest of you weirdos!" It was evident that she directed this to everyone aside from the football players and Cheerios.
Mercedes being Mercedes stood up and said, "I think it's a great idea, she's more popular than you" as she glared at Quinn, ",she had a popular boyfriend and, I like her, she's nice to all of us." For once Mercedes smiled at Rachel and then nodded with support.
Rachel beamed at Mercedes and then said, "so like I was saying, I asked her this morning and she said she would think about it but, I think she needs more provoking. I also happen to know that she can both sing and dance and she enjoys it." Rachel finished and then went to sit down.
Artie spoke up just then, "Each of us that know her can ask her to join and just maybe then she'll join.
"Everyone in f-f-favor of getting L-L-Lucy Hart to j-j-join Glee club r-r-raise your hand." Tina said.
Everyone raised their hands except for Quinn. Everyone looked at her and she sighed, "Fine but I get to talk to her first."

Okay so now they all want Lucy to join so that it would bring some popularity to the group. Though what if it doesn't bring any popularity😬😬
Well at least Mike will finally get his girl
