The double doors slid open as I approached the entrance of the corridor.

"We weren't expecting you so soon." A uniformed man spoke to me, trying to keep up with my quick pace.
I ignored him as several Storm Troopers quickly moved out of my way as I continued down the metallic corridor.

"Ah. Y/n." I Heard the familiar voice that stopped me in my tracks.

"Hux."  I spat as much venom as I could when I spoke his name as I turned on my heels to face the read haired man, "Where is he?"

"I imagine he's locked in his room right about now." Hux seemed proud of himself, "And for good reason. He's an embarrassment. A simple scavenger girl brought him to his knees."

"I don't see why they didn't send you since you think you could have done better." I crossed my arms across my chest, "Oh yes, that's right. You're nothing." I clenched my fist, feeling a hold on his neck without ever touching him.

A small smile pulled on my lips as I got the reaction I wanted. Panic splashed across Hux's face, I released him at once, he staggered backwards on to the wall.

I continued on my way down the hall, leaving Hux to wallow in his anger.

■■■

I closed the door behind me as I let myself in the dimly lit room. I didn't have to call his name out to know he was there, I slowly picked up his helmet off the floor as I crossed the distance to his bed.

He sat on the edge of the bed in silence, his face buried in his hands, not looking up at me as I approached him, placing his helmet on the mattress beside him.
I didn't say a word, asking
If he was alright was ridiculous.

I stood close to him, running my fingers through his hair, pulling him close to me. He responded to my touch, wrapping his arms around my waist, hiding his face against my stomach.

"What happened, Kylo?" I asked softly as I continued to stroke his hair.

"I couldn't do it." His voice sounded muffled, "I couldn't go through with it. I couldn't kill him."

"Him?" I asked.

"My father." Kylo looked up to meet my eyes.
I had heard word that Han Solo had died. It hurt my very core as I felt his presence disappear.

"It wasn't you?" I moved my hands to either side of Kylo's face, I realized he had been crying.

He shook his head out of my hands, "I couldn't." He repeated. I felt a weight lift off my chest as I processed his words.
"It was him." Kylo continued, "He activated my lightsaber, he knew... he knew that I couldn't go through with it, he knew Snoke would kill me if I couldn't do what was asked. He just wanted me to go home."

■■■

"The girl- Y/N, she's a threat." Hux spoke loudly and confidently in the dark room, "She's too strong, she could turn on us."

"It's true, she lacks the darkness necessary for a Sith." Snoke spoke calmly, "However, she's loyal to the boy. She won't betray him."
