Layla was standing at the entrance of a small and quiet restaurant, her hands shaking with nerves. For some reason unbeknownst to her, she had agreed to meet Matt for dinner to talk. Only now as she saw him making his way towards her, did she realise she should of said no.

Matt had a hopeful smile across his face as he neared her, feeling over the moon that his ex was meeting him.

His smile dropped when Layla spoke "I'm only here to say what needs to be said, then I don't want to see you again." She knew she was being harsh, but it seemed as thought Matt didn't get the hint last time she said she didn't want anything to do with him. He nodded and focused his gaze to the floor as he gestured for her to walk inside first.

They were seated quickly, perks of being a celebrity, and although Layla's appetite was nonexistent she ordered herself a pizza with a glass of water.

"I feel like I need to explain about what happened-" Layla cut off Matts sentence with a slight scoff but she didn't want to hurt his feelings. "I'm sorry Matt but you're one year too late. Why did you even ask to meet after all this time? Why now?" She was impatient and didn't want an explanation, she just wanted the truth. He sighed and nodded "The truth is, I saw you with that Chris guy and-" Layla shook her head in disbelief. "You were jealous." Matt hesitantly nodded.

"I can't believe this, I finally get the chance to move on from you and you get jealous. Even though you've got a new girl, her names Katherine isn't it? Your costar?" Layla spat out quietly so no one around would hear. Matt gulped before leaning over the table and attempted to reach for her hand, that she pulled away instantly. "Look- I didn't mean to hurt you, I just want you back."

Layla couldn't believe what she was hearing. She couldn't believe that Matt wanted her back after a year of her not being able to date anyone because they would always remind her of him.

But that was before she met Chris. Chris didn't remind her of Matt. He was his own gorgeous and kind self that made Layla melt.

"I'm sorry Matt. I just don't love you anymore." She then got up and walked out of the restaurant with her head held high.
