A/N: I'm going to add a lot of modern day inventions in so don't hate me! And anyways, on with the story!!!!!!!

        Tom's POV:

It was a like any other day at the orphanage. I sat on my bed, immersed in one of the few books we had at the orphanage. It was titled Beauty and the Beast. Call me girly for enjoying it, but it is an excellent book. It intrigues me at how Belle is so excepting towards the Beast. That's how I think of myself. Alone, cold. Its true. Maybe one day I'll find a Belle. But that's rubbish of a thought. I was conceived under a love potion. I can't love if I wanted to. My thoughts were interrupted by Ms. Coy coming in.

" Tom, there's someone Is like you to meet. " she said ushering a girl who looked about my age into the room. She was a bit shorter than me. Her long black hair was hanging loose down to the small of her back, her tan skin glowed in the light, her beautiful brown eyes glimmered with promise, her rose pink lips were formed into a slight smile. She had a few belongings with her. A guitar, and a green journal and pen. "Nice to meet you. I'm Allie." she said extending her hand for me to shake, her voice a bit sad. "Hi. I'm Tom." I said slightly smiling back. I don't know what came over me. I don't know why the hell I smiled. I usually don't smile at people. But she was different. She made me want to smile.

" Well, your name is actually Allie Coel sweetie we-" Ms. Coy was cut off by Allie. "Don't. Call. Me. By. That. Last. Name. I refuse to share the same name as my disgrace of a father! Who beat my brother and sister! Made them hate me! Beat my mother! Yelled at me everyday! And just left after my Mother's murder! I have a baby sister and a best friend who is God knows where! And it's all his fault!" yelled Allie, shocking Ms. Coy. Realization of the situation suddenly hit me. From what she's just said makes my heart break. Wait. What the fuck was that? I'm not supposed to be feeling stuff! But something about this girl made me care. "Well, anyways, Tom, Allie, your roommates! Well, I'll go now..." said Ms. Coy, awkwardly leaving. " I'm sorry, Tom. Its just that... everything that I knew is gone! Its just a lot!" she said in between sobs,  sitting down on one of the room's two beds. Gosh. She was beautiful even when she cried. I walked over to comfort her. "Hey. Its okay Allie. Do you want to talk or something?" I asked sitting next to her. "Yeah. That would be great. Thank you! You're so nice!" Allie sobbed into my shoulder, hugging me, which caught me off guard, but I gladly responded to. Well, I think I might have just made, a friend?
