Allie let go from the hug and began to tell me the about her old life. She had a mother named Ella and a father named Timothy. She had two older siblings, Pria and Paul. They both hated her because of her father. Her father beat her brother and sister and mother to take out his aggression.
Her little sister, Mera and her best friend Kristi had disappeared. I felt sad for her though. I told her about my backround and she said sorry even though she did hadn't done anything. She was intriguing.Allie and I were out in play yard sitting on the bench, just making casual conversation. "Having a friend is a lot different than I expected. " I said. Allie raised her eyebrows, a bit confused at what I had said. "Really?" she asked. " How so?" I pointed to two girls across the play yard arguing by the slide. "See those two girls?" Allie nodded, turning her head in the direction. "That's Anneleigh and Karen. They're the best of friends, so they say. They fight all the time. So honestly I thought having a friend would be a load of work. " I said as she laughed. "What? I asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion. " Tom, friendship is supposed to be a good thing. Having someone who's there for you. Who listens to you. Who can make you smile when you want to cry. That's what true friendship is " Allie said, her brown orbs piercing into my own. Unfortunately, the moment was miserably destroyed by Bobby Dumbass Harold. " Tom has himself a girlfriend, huh?" said Bobby, surrounded by his goons, Magnus King and Gordon Lowedy.
" Shut up you prats. I feel sorry That you don't have better things to do than harass us about figments of your imagination." said Allie, sending an annoyed look his way. " No one asked for your opinion freak show." said Bobby, pushing Allie down on the ground. That was it. I had enough. I got off the bench and punched that got straight in the jaw. Before I knew it, we were fighting. Allie stood there in shock for a moment, but then started to cheer me on. " Come on Tom! Kick his ass!" she shouted as Bobby and I threw punches. A few more kids gathered around chanting random nonsense. The fight continued until Ms. Coy came out. "What is the meaning of this?" asked Ms. Coy coming to break up the fight.
"Well, Bobby pushed Allie so I punched him." I said simply. It's not like it was a big deal. He only lost a few teeth. " It's true Ma'am. Tom got his hands on Bobby before I could." Allie hissed. It was only then I noticed the trail of blood trickling from her jaw line. " You're bleeding!" I exclaim. She looked at me confused and wiped her jaw line, examining the blood on her hand. "Oh. I am? That's ok. Can't feel it." she said. Her response left me baffled which obviously showed due to her response. "I'm American . For a while I grew up in the hood. That's where the real stuff is. That was nothing." she said, crossing her arms. "You pushed her? Shame Bobby. I think Tom had a justified reason to hurt you. And would you like to go see the nurse, Allie?" asked Ms.Coy. "No thank you. Im fine really." Allie replied. Ms.Coy bit her lip nervously. "Well, I think you should just go to get that cleaned up. Can you please show Allie to the infimary?" Ms.Coy asked me. I nodded in response as Allie followed me to the infirmary.
"That really didn't hurt?" I asked as we walked. She slightly nodded. "I doesn't feel like anything. The thing is after you've seen death, nothing physically painful is that much of a burden." she replied. "Who did you see die?" I asked, curosity flooding my mind. "My Mum. I was the one who tried to heal her. I was too late." she said, her eyes blank and watery, tears threatening to fall. I reached out and hugged her, she gladly returned it. I felt her tears falling on my shoulder. "It's all my fault. I.wasn't there soon enough." she said, a sob escaping her lips. "No it's not. Its whoever murdered her's fault. " I whispered. She nodded into me shoulder, then letting go. "Let's get you to the infirmary. " I said.
