Hogsmeade weekend was a delight, no matter how old you were, Lisa thought, as she got out of bed that morning rather gleefully. Her roommate Leanne emerged from the bathroom, already dressed and was combing her hair as she walked. "Morning, sleeping beauty. The others already headed out, I will too in awhile. Want to come with Katie and I?"
"No thanks," she said, "I'm going with Noel today. If you see him when you go down, tell him I won't be long."
"Gotcha." Leanne replied, setting her hair brush down on her nightstand before heading out of the door. Lisa quickly hopped into the bathroom to get dressed, slipping on casual muggle clothing before grabbing her wand and a hair tie, pulling up her brown hair into a ponytail as she jogged down the flight of stairs.
"That was quick," Noel remarked as she saw Lisa emerge from the stairs, "I was going to continue reading my book. Usually when Ange tells me she won't be long, what she really means is that it's going to take her another century until she's ready."
"What can I say? We girls do love to take our time. But I felt guilty with having to let you wait for that long," she replied, gesturing to herself, "I don't look to bad now don't I."
"You look...nice.." Noel smiled, swallowing a lump that was building in his throat. "Now come on, the carriages await!" he exclaimed, running to the portrait hole before Lisa even had time to process the compliment he had thrown her.
"You never tell me I look nice," she chuckled, "Stop being weird, Elly."
"I'm not." he retorted, "I just felt like saying that, alright? Don't make it a big deal."
"Mhmm," she mumbled, just as the portrait hole swung open.
Madame Puddifoot's was always their first stop whenever they were at Hogsmeade, the two practically in love with the sweet strawberry tarts that they sold. Lisa and Noel would buy a plate of it, and would proceed to eat outside under the shade of the adorable pink umbrellas.
After stuffing their faces with a platter of their favorite pastries, the sight of rows and rows of colorful candies and chocolates almost looked sickening to the both of them. Lisa was not a big fan of sweets, however, her twin siblings had requested most earnestly that she got them a few sweets of their liking. And by few, they meant a whole list of it.
On the brighter side of things, it would Callan and Maisie's last year of staying in the castle during Hogsmeade weekend, and by then, Lisa wouldn't have to carry a load of orders back to the castle.
Noel wandered away from her the minute they stepped in to the shop. No matter how full he declared himself to be, he almost always had room for a couple pieces of Fudge Flies and sugar quills, which he usually munches on during the carriage ride back to the castle. She chuckled at his lack of ability to resist food, before going over the list that she was carrying.
She was scooping flavored beans into a bag when she saw the Weasley twins walk in to the shop. They were almost everywhere these days, Lisa had thought, it was purely coincidental.
"Little Johnson!" one of them called out with a smile, as they spotted Noel walking back to Lisa. "Fred, George, hey. I haven't seen you two in awhile."
"Yeah, us too. We seem to miss you at the commons everytime. George and I have been busy, as you know, selling our products around, trying to get a brand for ourselves."
"So I've heard." he replied, "And it's going very well, isn't it?"
"Very much so. Maybe you'd be interested in buying a snackbox?" One of them proposed, making him chuckle, "Not at this moment, no. But, we'll see. I might need one soon."
