Leo

stepped into the world of  fire, his body embracing the light tingle of heat, he walked toward the man whop kept his gaze on the volcanoes.

His eyes were a deep red and his hair were a brilliant fiery yellow.

"Leo Valdez," he said, he barely put any effort into speaking which would have made him barely audible but his voice resonated with so much power it effected the world of fire around them.

Leo was so confused, He didn't know what to say so he said the first thing that came to his mind, "Hi."

Uninterested, the man-o-fire continued to talk, "I am the keeper of the flames, Chaos made me himself from lava and fire."

"Chaos?" Leo asked, he had only heard bits and pieces of the first being, the creator of creation itself. "There is much going on  in what you call Earth that you not yet know,Chaos has returned for his son, the heir to his throne, your friend Percy Jackson, now before you start talking, no he was not the son of the seagod, There is a whole story to that that needn't explenation now." sighing he turned around and slowly started to sit down, and as if he willed it a chair of magma came from around and formed under him.

"I've been the keeper for far too long and I wish for replacement, and Chaos had promised me one if I fought for him in the war, but his brother prosed something more intriguing....Leo Valdez if I side with Chaos, destruction will rain upon you and Olympus, your father would lose his realm, you and your siblings lose resistance to fire and shall be burned, if any of your side set foot near a camp fire or volcano it would lash at you burning you to crisp and making your last moments alive as painful as possible...however, if you take the job as keeper, all that would happen to Chaos and his people, and perhaps more."

Even though he didn't say very much, it was still a lot to take in, Leo shook his head realizing something was off about this deal, "a deal like that is way too good to be true, and I know what lives of heroes are like, so...whats the catch?" the Keeper looked back  out to the fire and lava, with an almost distasteful look on his face.

"the fire...is like an animal, an untammable animal, I am called the keeper, of fire, it has a sort of mind and hunger of its own, the catch, Leo Valdez, is you have to let the animal out of its cage every once in a while, the more you reign it in the more hungry it gets and if you let it starve for too long, it will go loose and and kill those who matter most to you, so when you let it out you have to be okay that it might kill those you love, and those of innocent hearts.....there is no guide book to being Keeper, Valdez, you learn the hard way sometimes....just as I did." Leo looked down at his feet, so it was like a dog with a bad attitude...great. "Lastly Valdez," Leo looked up and and the Keepers striking gaze returned to him, "If you say no, and I side with Chaos in this war I promise I will try my heardest to make it a quick one."

Leo clenched his fists and sneered at the Keeper,  "That doesn't leave me with very much choice!"

the Keeper smiled and even chuckled, "No...it really doesn't." he held his hand out and the fire of the planet they were one started getting sucked into his hand until the entire place was black and the only light was the handfull of fire in the Keepers hands. "Do you Leo Valdez accept becoming the Keeper of fire?" Leo took a brave breath and held out his hands, nodding in acceptance.

Chaos POV

Chaos sent Percy away after a few more lessons and teachings of mind and body, after which Chaos tried to sense the balance of his power and to his disappointment, still strongly interrupted by an opposing force. Chaos plopped on his throne thinking this was all just a waste and he might just have to kill him.
